Surprised 'The Loco-Motion' is so low but I guess it's not one of Kylie's better songs.

Mostly still songs that I don't know (or otherwise have nothing to say about) so far!

Levi advert to the rescue again as they claimed the top 2 back in early 87. The first track to get 4 voters!

It took a re-issue but never mind as it finally hit big.

Love & Pride is an excellent funk and rock influenced pop song. Wild Boys got 4 voters as well, very consistent scoring with A View To A Kill, but I'm pleased to see which of their #2s has come out on top

I am def more of a fan of ‘Wild Boys’ always felt ‘A View to a Kill’ was seperate from their HUGE 81-84 eras and the beginning of the end of the consistent hits.

Percy Sledge and Ben E King top 2 in 1987 😬

When a man loves a woman is a great classic, almost ruined by the Michael Bolton cover a few years later

Not a big Duran Duran fan, don't like any of their #1s but both Wild Boys and View to a Kill are great

I must say that a lot of the songs that I thought would do well are out quite early...
I think I must have cut Love & Pride too early, that's my favourite so far that I didn't vote for, pretty anthemic.
Not that me voting in this would have made any difference but 'Church of the Poison Mind' <3 big love for 'Love & Pride' as well.

Lol if there’s one rate where a single voter makes a massive difference it’s this! :)

First of Bowie’s three entries to exit the rate and indeed the last time he was in the top 5.

A track only available on the CD version of “Bad” so was unknown to many buyers hence its peak position and only missed out on No 1 by 500 copies.

Not exactly “banned” by the BBC but certainly not promoted or shown on TOTP because of its theme- might be why it’s on the list and not a chart topper?

adore Invisible Sun (obv) but also Bowie's is under-rated, Percy Sledge is a classic but its a 60's classic so I didn't vote for it. Duran's Bond theme is one of the best but the Duran 2's are back to front on the list for me, Wild Boys top, last remaining least.

That leaves King, which is still pretty decent, and Leave Me Alone is still OK but not much more. It still sounds like a leftover track on Bad and I'm still grumpy that vinyl buyers got screwed (I bought Bad on vinyl). Great video, but megastars moaning about being hounded by the media while being famous and rich and successful from using the media is not something I can relate to - if anyone should be moaned at its his parents for working them while they were still minors and making them rich and famous!
