You can tell that Saturday was Record Store Day when albums that haven’t graced the top 40 in decades show up in the first chart update due to being re-released as picture disks to mark the occasion.

Looks like none of those songs in DC1 have gone to ACR. Pleasing to see Latto and Leah top 40 but sadly appears to be another stagnant top 10 incoming Friday!
Really thought Bob Vylan was a typo at first, I had to read the OCC commentary to check it out, as I read it as Bob Dylan.
Yay for Big Energy! Pretty sure that'll be enough for it to hold top 40 this week. Hopefully a HHUK add can turn it into a summer smash
Hope Vibe Chemistry keeps on rising! Also, I love your text picture JosephStyles - the more recognition 'Heartstopper' gets, the better!

Fully agreed, I've already watched it twice in full!

Yes for Big Energy and especially 10 Things I Hate About You, completely opposite bops may make the region! :D

Bad Life by Sigrid and BMTH nowhere in the Top 40 though

Big Energy got 2 downloads from me today lol, hope it holds top 40!
Underwhelmed by the Fontaines DC sales but should be easily no1 with 20k!

Their last album opened with just over 19k so they should be on course to beat that, that's pretty good going I'd say.

Seems to have been left out of the update for some reason but Tyler, The Creator's album being back up to #17 now - not sure if that was also part of Record Store Day or if some of its vinyl sales have gone into this week rather than last week for some reason? (I did think it was strange that it showed up at #79 on the final chart last week after not being in the midweeks so not quite sure what's going on with that).

:cheeseblock: at a remix album by The Prodigy being among the assorted Record Store Day oddities flooding the top 100 album midweeks.

I think a sale of around the same would be a good result. I don't think A Hero's Death was close to being as well received as Dogrel so not sure the fanbase would have grown a great deal since to get a significantly higher result for album 3

Tyler wasn't mentioned in the OCC article on the album chart (published about half an hour before the full midweek chart), that's why he's missing from the update :magic:

was wondering how many sales does it normally take to be top 100?

Looking at old threads, you need 6K to be top 75, guess a bit less for top 100 but maybe 5K?

not sure how many were sold in the UK either :D

Taylor's on 4.3k at the moment, #100 sold 4.6k last week so she should remain top 100, she won't be adding completely nothing over the week with the song available to stream (it sold 380 yesterday for example)
