Posted May 1, 20223 yr Yeah Yeah Yeahs have some shows coming up in the Summer... and it looks like new music (their first since 'Mosquito' in 2013) is coming very soon! Their name has been written in the sky above New York, and the band have been retweeting it  @1520888967331164161
May 26, 20223 yr Was already excited for their return, but even more so now I know Perfume Genius is involved
June 5, 20223 yr This sounds absolutely massive. Brilliant comeback. Of course I wasn't expecting anything different when I knew that Perfume Genius was featured, but I'm now very much looking forward to what this era has to offer!
June 7, 20223 yr Wow. Did not see this one coming. The song is indeed huge and the video elevates it even more
June 10, 20223 yr My sister saw them on Wednesday night at the Brixton Academy, it sounds like it went off. She said they played some bangers, started with the new single - played a few more off of the forthcoming new album Cool It Down, which all sounded big/great, and then ended on “Date With The Night”. Hyped!
June 10, 20223 yr Author I do quite like the new single, but I am finding it a lil bit too generic. I'm not sure how much I'll return to it.
September 30, 20222 yr 'Wolf' is absolutely huge. They have really expanded upon the more gentle and electronic elements of 'It's Blitz' with this album. 'Burning' is actually the only thing here that doesn't really appeal to me, which is a shame, because everything else is fantastic.
September 30, 20222 yr 'Spitting Off The Edge Of The World' was a fantastic comeback track, hit me in a similar ish way to Wolf Alice's 'The Last Man On Earth' (albeit not quite as incredible as that was, and it also doesn't quite touch 'Maps' or 'Zero' for me but those are a crazy high bar tbf). 'Burning' is definitely a step down but still liked it too - it's just great to have them back again and still making good music, looking forward to hearing the rest of the album.
September 30, 20222 yr Wolf is an obvious pop moment but for me Lovebomb and Blacktop are great, I love how well Karen suits the spoken sections and the gentle melodic synths on both are dreamy.
