Actually I never would have guessed it had anything to do with Max Martin since it's not their best. In my opinion.

Loved their Eurovision performance of this (they also teased the aforementioned Elvis movie song - a cover of 'If I Could Dream') - patiently waiting for it to be uploaded to YouTube :lol:

 

already zoomed into the top 10 on iTunes off the back of it (and Teatro D'ira vol. I gets an album boost :heart:) - here's to that translating to streaming a bit

Wasn't too sure on 'SUPERMODEL' when I listened to it on Friday but the performance sold it to me now. I didn't realise how good the guys vocals were doing slower songs like they did with that small part of the second song.

Really liking ‘SUPERMODEL’ and enjoyed the performance last night but I’m surprised they didn’t perform ‘ZITTI E BUONI’ as well. Don’t the previous winners usually perform their winning song? They kind of looked like they didn’t want to be there maybe down to the lead singers injury.

Yeah I assume the second choice of song being just a short preview, of one that they didn’t move about for, was because of Damiano’s injury - props to him for doing it at all! Their return to Sanremo festival had an amazing selection of ‘ZITTI E BUONI’ and ‘CORALINE’ a few months ago :wub:

 

It’s making streaming progress on Apple today, hopefully Spotify follows suit.

surprised Supermodel didn't do better

Really disappointed with the performance of ‘Supermodel’ - it hasn’t been a big hit anywhere aside from a few places, I expected it to do a lot better in Europe off the back of the ESC performance.

 

I can’t see ‘If I Can Dream’ changing their chart fortunes either.

Yeah it is a shame :/ it did well with its first day streams though, so I think they have a decent fanbase but it just hasn’t connected outside that.

 

But it is a bop and I’m still enjoying it.

 

And tbf If I Can Dream isn’t a single anyway.

It's a little annoying that it was so close to top 40 but I suppose it didn't drop right out the top 100 on it's second week. Could've again done with better HH placement though.
