May 27, 20223 yr I knew the AUDACITY would be sent in BJSC sooner or later because it is a really decent pop track that seems to be noticeable by the pop bloc. Knew Yehesi would go for Froukje! Glad Cor Lupus stuck to IRAIDA which I think should be big. Rachel Chinouriri is another great choice here and this song sounds pretty decent. Let's hope Buzzjack won't rob these entries again like they did against some POCs in the last few editions!
May 27, 20223 yr BPM15Q the artist I sent to the Japan vs. South Korea spin-off :cheeseblock: intrigued to hear more! Klum Rep's song was a #2 smash in my personal chart so obviously hype for that
May 27, 20223 yr Ooh quite a few I know here! The taste jumped out If I never reconfirmed, Bøtanikkä would have artist clashed with me? :o Julian or CAIVA?! :o If that would have happened then as a backup I have two other separate songs from both artists that I could had reconfirmed!!! I’ve been obsessed with both Julian and CAIVA lately!!!
May 27, 20223 yr Supernova was my second choice for Masquerade this year so hopefully people take to this as much as they did with Puppet! It's not left my mind since the search too  That’s literally the only TXT song I’m not that keen on :(they have a whole ass album out too, that's the worst part :drama: Thursday's Child Has Far To Go needs to be unleashed into the wild
May 27, 20223 yr What are the chances I didn't get any of the older nations with the oldest track I've ever sent :')
May 27, 20223 yr . Knew Yehesi would go for Froukje! You better support the good sis and ha flop single Ik Wil Dansen :cheeseblock:
May 27, 20223 yr Well I am quite pleased to be in the same semi as Cumulonimbia given my entry was a #1 in the Doctor Blind chart! (This coming after I pinched a former #1 from Kath's chart in the form of Hildegard last year as well :kink: not that I discovered either song from those charts, just happened to notice that they were there before sending them). I see how it is though with Doctor B acknowledging Ibibio Sound Machine being here but not ill peach. I want to be a legend as well :'( My entry this month is quite pretentiously described as 'grit-pop' - combining shoegaze-y vocals with breakbeat production. The internet's busiest music nerd Anthony Fantano compared it to Charli XCX in his mini review of it in a weekly track roundup video (which is where I actually found it). The last time I sent a song I found from one of those videos it DNQed, but I am reasonably confident this one will do a lot better, excited for people to hear it x All three of the songs that I said already had a high placing in my votes near locked in (there were 4, but one of them was that Fred again.. song which got vetoed as it turned out it had way more exposure than I remembered) are in the same semi-final as me as well so an uphill battle for any discoveries to land in my medal positions for the semi  Major hype then to Boy Harsher, Floating Points and Ibibio Sound Machine, with the latter two being the artists that I was excited to see finally being sent here. I had 'Give Me A Reason' by Ibibio Sound Machine as a potential years back but never got around to sending it, and for Floating Points I'd probably have sent something by him a while back if not for him having already been sent to Unknown Pleasures. I think there are ~4 others in my semi that I've already heard and out of those I remember liking the Bob Moses song too a fair amount although I don't remember it well so looking forward to being reminded of it. Think there are 5 or 6 I've already heard from semi 1 as well, Ethel Cain being my favourite out of those. (well, that or Tila Tsoli xx)
May 27, 20223 yr I haven't had teem at all for BJ but I have 10 mins atm to swnd a track!!! Let me in
May 27, 20223 yr Julian or CAIVA?! :o If that would have happened then as a backup I have two other separate songs from both artists that I could had reconfirmed!!! I’ve been obsessed with both Julian and CAIVA lately!!! Julian :cheeseblock: I have 2 of his songs in my personal chart top 10 at the moment but great choice! We're #technotwinsies this month <3

I mean, it goes without saying, obvs. Sorry Bré, I got so excited and carried away after seeing ISM that tbh I didn't check the rest of the semi, “COMATOSE” is another SOLID choice, an addictive drum and bass track that could potentially do very well. Think this is going to be a bloodbath in my votes tho, I've also now seen Rachel Chinouriri and Floating Points plus I charted that VLURE track last year too - strong Working Men's Club vibe with that one. Looking forward to getting stuck in to the rest. : )
May 27, 20223 yr Semi 2 is truly STACKED! RIP my Libra mind. A reminder that Kathaldazia entry comes as a PACKAGE - you have to view the video as well x
May 27, 20223 yr Let me in On the basis that Beaverdonia might actually give me some points this month… But unfortunately it wouldn’t be up to me, and you’d need to bring Pavel back with his chosen entry (pending vetoes) and it’s all just a little too late for that (especially given FSR Rontvia are already an AQ). :( But before I sign off… #EndBeaverdoniaRacism
May 27, 20223 yr okay who's for coding-themed classical indie? been wanting to enter Mili for years I think I've heard the Lights song but other than that this is all new to me.
May 28, 20223 yr have heard precisely zero songs here but a few names I recognize. been looking forward to listening to Ethel cain bc ive heard good stuff but have not listened, hopefully that survives its semi so I'm forced to listen and not just ~add her to my list~ as far as my song, it was released in 2018 and it's not exactly "cutting-edge" pop or anything but it's like the midpoint between emotion and jessie ware's music from the past 2 years so basically I'm just trying to rack up points from those of us still stuck in the late 2010s aesthetically lmao Edited May 28, 20223 yr by dhwhore
May 28, 20223 yr Stevie and Lights  Know a few other names as well but not the songs so much! I've been debating which Casyette song to go with for ages, Dear Goth was my first potential and then there were about three others before Mayhem but I figured that one was the one most likely to appeal to the masses rather than one of her heavier ones. Dead Roses by her was on Spotify last week then was taken down, I didn't realise it went back up on Friday otherwise I probs would have switched to it :kink: hopefully people like Mayhem tho x
May 28, 20223 yr Oh no Dear Goth would have been perfect me thinks. Petrichor is also very decent. Will need to listen to Mayhem but Cassyette's latest ones were a miss for me unfortunately. Edited May 28, 20223 yr by uhsting
May 28, 20223 yr So let me get this right because my brain can only process tiny bits of info at a time. I can only vote in semi final 2 as that’s my semi finals. I have to rank the songs or give a top ten or whatever (not including mine I imagine) by the 3rd of June? Anything I’ve missed?
