Harry Styles should remain at #1 for a ninth week, with an expected debut for Calvin Harris’ return to Funk Wav on Potion featuring Dua Lipa & Young Thug. New releases include Kanye West & XXXTENTACION’s True Love along with tracks from Sky Ferreira, NEIKED, M.I.A., Mimi Webb, Sleepy Hallow, Blackbear, Bad Boy Chiller Crew and Russ Millions

Liam Gallagher could claim a fourth #1 with the release of C’mon You Know (along with live album Down by the River Thames). There’s debut albums from Tate McRae with i used to think i could fly and Alfie Templeman with Mellow Moon, plus new releases from Wilco, Will Young, Def Leppard, Just Mustard, HAAi and Nafe Smallz

Breakdown of the week

- Saturday: Some information may be posted on social media but it is likely to be missing most streaming data and is unrepresentative.

- Sunday: Official First Look Chart on Radio 1 from 6-7pm. Please do not post spoilers on the forum in advance as this ruins the countdown for any listeners.

- Monday: OCC Top 100 from 5:45pm

- Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one.

- Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed.

- Thursday: See Tuesday.

Other notes (please read)

- You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod).

- Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue.

- Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored. Any chart requests between No. 41 to 100 will not be answered after Monday's update.

- To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads.

Don’t forget no chart update radio 1 hopefully get 20 on official website at 7pm last week got stuck on top 10

Indeed, no First Look tonight unfortunately. I'll be on the lookout for the OCC posting a top 20 so stay tuned and I'll get that up ASAP when/if it gets posted.

Hoping Tate can reach a new peak (hopefully even top 10) with saiwb due to the album drop, but being cautiously hopeful
Looks like all the OCC people are at Coventry  :o how rude

weren't they late posting the update last week too? i swear i remember not actually seeing the full article till about 8 so maybe theres another delay?

No Bank Holiday tomorrow because they were pushed back to Thursday and Friday for the jubilee weekend.

Will that affect the Chart on Friday/;next week?

Only in the sense that we get 15 more minutes on the chart show as Newsbeat doesn't occur on bank holidays!

They didn't have to give awkward excuses for not playing The Kunts (assuming that made First look top 20).

I assume they'd just say "there's a song about Prince Andrew at *insert position* and next up is...." like they did with the Boris tracks, no excuses, just very swiftly moving on

Scott is off, Jack Saunders is doing it again.

Quite surprised there is even a chart show on Friday most of the time there is no chart update on a Bank Holiday Monday considering the Bank Holiday is falling on a Thursday and Friday, guess its more like a Good Friday situation and go with it. OCC charts online will most likely be delayed. Also I'm guessing here, they probably skip a few tracks that could be a bit sensitive to the nature of the Jubilee celebrations, like when the Duke of Edinburgh passed away. I remember that chart was announced, it was basically a soft touch to it.

Just have to see what happens on the day when the chart is announced.

They run the chart show on when it lands on Christmas Day, so I see no reason why it should be cancelled this week. Obviously at times of national mourning (similar to the deaths of Diana Princess of Wales or Duke of Edinburgh etc...) the chart show maybe either cancelled or scaled back to reflect the mood of the nation, but I can't see them alter the format this week apart from a short extension to the show to account for no newsbeat at 5:45.

Apparently Liam Gallagher is #1 in the albums with 56k, his live album is also #3 behind Harry
