However I do like the idea of a deluxe cover that is different from the standard cover. Kylie doesn't usually do that... Golden was the same cover, Disco just had font colour changes. It would be refreshing if a deluxe differed in terms of picture and layout.

 

I'd put money on a deluxe being the same shot, but with her face/background in different colours, like that teaser video showed. :kink:

I agree about the album getting a different cover for a deluxe, i do like getting a new cover. Also with the deluxe i always feel its beter releasing a deluxe later in the release rather than releasing the regular version and deluxe at the same time.

I remember Girls Aloud doing this for Out of Control! I suppose those were different times though.

 

 

Unfortunately 'Hold on to Now' has leaked in full HQ. It's the first track from the era to leak in this quality. I sincerely hope that's it for Tension leaks. Also I'm not going to be listening to this one, not unless Kylie releases it as a pre-album release song at some point.

Ugh, what a massive f*** up to have these leaks. Why on earth would they potentially send out the entire album early or is this coming from "inside the house"?

Why are all Kylie fans complaining of leaks yet they are the only ones posting about them and listening? They themselves are doing more harm than good. Someone on popjustice has posted tiktok links to every single song on the album.

 

Can we not just start with Padam Padam and go with the flow?

Every song (including deluxe songs) from Tension has a "sound" on TikTok... and they are reasonably lengthy clips. It appears to be officially done but I'm not sure how these things work. It feels oddly early for this? :thinking:

 

If it's unofficial, then somebody (or maybe group of people? Who knows) are seriously wanting to sabotage this era before it even properly begins.

The rest is pretty standard Kylie? Largely big, glittery, 80s influenced pop tracks. Hard to knock it when it still sounds good, but definitely not the X meets Kiss Me Once follow up I was expecting."

If its official I guess it's just to ramp up album preorders for bit.

Well I remember KMO getting lengthy plays when they rolled out that album but that was released. The sampler was official.

 

Who knows what they have in store for us.

:blink: :unsure: This doesn’t feel right… would understand if the album was out maybe in 4 weeks rather than 4 months, if it’s been officially done it feels like a mess but could be in reaction to album leaks?

 

I hate that they seem to have lost control over preventing major leaks which has maybe led to this.

Who knows. Maybe the album is coming sooner and irs all planned, but literally only a few Kylie fans are listening to the leaks? Most of those are not even listening

It's just odd. Did they send out the entire album to reviewers or something this early, or how could it leak if it's not someone in her camp? I know Kylie is an artist that usually have a lot of leaks surrounding her, but usually it's things that are five years old and realistically won't be used in any capacity. I don't think even "just" having outtakes leak from this album is good business for her since the songwriters/producers might want to re-use the songs or parts/backing tracks for other artists :unsure:

If this is part of their strategy then I don’t think it’s a great one - I can’t think of any other artist that has released 30+ second clips of their entire album on TikTok before the lead single has even been officially released and 4+ months before the album is due (and pre-orders are not even live for it yet!).
