I find it strange that the tension re release is the end of year as I would have thought maybe a June release, leave a gap and then the new album.

"A source said" and some vague quotes in a Sun article. I'll take that with a pinch of salt and see what happens.

There's no way there'll be a whole new album and a tension re-release within the same few months.

Interesting huns

Sounds like a re release this year (my guess is at some point over summer? I think we will get a new single soon) and then maybe the new album in 2025 followed by a tour huns?

That would be nice if we got lots of new Kylie songs. Just a shame the tour is another year away.

Just Carol Honey ♥️

Usually the sun is ok for this kind of stuff but I think the tension re release will be released earlier than the article says.

For all the trash The Sun post they are usually spot on with their music news so expecting their timelines to be correct.
I just find it odd that the re release would be over a year later from the original release, it feels like too long of a gap.

I think the re release will most likely be a short term increase as re releases are generally aimed at the fan base and as we all know kylie fans will buy it it no matter what time of year it in released.

However, if they are doing a proper re release with 1 or 2 new singles that get a proper push it may sell over a couple of weeks.

Yeah I think The Sun will be pretty accurate with that. I think it would be good if the Dance Alone and the Joel Corry collab (assuming it’s released as a single before the re-release) were added to the album on streaming platforms before the physical release - may as well take advantage of those streaming sales as soon as possible.
Joel Corry can go for a re-release, as frankly I don't have high expectations from it, but I don't want them to advertise this re-release too much, as it might hinder the anticipation for the next project, which hopefully will be fruitful altogether without being a one hit wonder or being a complete underperformance.
I hope ‘running’ is included with the new tracks. The demo sounds great.

Extension double vinyl now under £22 on Amazon.

Pink (£17.54) and Black (£16.33) Tension vinyl reduced too…think that’s the lowest I’ve seen them all.

^^ Would have been ideal prices at Brits week when people were looking for them.

All these reductions help snatch a few extra sales though.

maybe finally getting rid of stock

I think they are just matching other retailers - Amazon check prices of certain eBay sellers and other online vinyl stores.

Yes im sure like any other company they keep an eye on prices elsewhere, mind you they should do a website blow out sale before new stuff comes along.
Extension is now a little under £20 but I'm still going to wait :teresa:
