Wait!!

Overall if these 2 songs are anything to go by, looks like the theme is generic club bangers but with the “Kylie sound”.

I've read that apparently Padam, this and Vegas High are the "clubby" moments of the album but there's a variety.

All I’ve heard is 10 second snippets of Tension and Vegas High - on the little I heard VH was the superior one for me but appreciate you can’t judge full songs based on a tiny sample, I’ve now decided not to listen to anymore leaks otherwise I’ll have heard half the album by the time it’s released.
Based on the samples I'd easily rank tension above Vegas high but need to hear them in full before I make a final decision.

Yes, I read that too. Where I was going with my earlier comment is that - it doesn't seem Tension is into creating a theme or amazing Kylie moments like Dancing and SS but focused more on commercial appeal and catering to what's hot on the chart at the moment.

You had me very excited until i got to the part where you said "Last time I fell in love with a Kylie song on 1st listen was "get outta my way".

At the time of the Aphrodite release get outta my way was really hyped and when i eventually first heard it I was disappointed by it as i didnt get the hype and still dont, for this reason (not just because of your post) i wont get my hopes too high until i hear it to avoid another disappointment.

I’m not a huge Get Outta My Way fan either, but I LOVE Tension, I would say it’s Kylie’s best BMG single. (Obviously this may change over time, but currently I would say)

1. Tension

2. Padam Padam

3. Real Groove

4. A Second to Midnight

5. Say Something

6. Dancing

Send me the link* to Tension the sang!

A cat was playin with me hand when I sent that. Some people say it was one of Taylor Swift's cats and that we're now ina relationship :o others say it was a neighbour's cat that I look after sometimes. Some say it was my cat. Nobody is sure.

I compared GOMW to Tension earlier in that , they don't sound the same but they have more than just 1 hook.

In Tension - a bit of it reminded me of Rita Ora "ritual", a bit reminded me of Jazzy's Giving Me, there was a bit of Kylie's dreamy voice and stuff going on..... just a perfect cocktail of so many hooks.

Hmm I don't know what to thibk of it!!

It's good, but is it better than Padam Padam and enough to get people off their tractors to stream it?? I dunno about that. Maybe witha couple more listens

Ohhh no no noooo. Please no :drama:

Tension is 100% Kylie’s best BMG single for me. I’m obsessed.

I think by all accounts everything is pointing towards 'Hold On to Now' being the next single, but they have to surely single this at some point given the hype it has?

They could release it as a buzz track 1 or 2 weeks before release (like 'I Love It' and 'Raining Glitter'). And if it really took off, they could make it a single.

All we know is that the next two singles are pre-determined and even have (about to have?) videos for them, with the next single probably being 'Hold On to Now'.

Hmm you k ow what it reminds me a bit of?? A toned-down mix of Cher's Do You ... Believe? (In Me) (Life About Love) with Lady GaGa's A-Yo! (Here We Go!)
I havnt heard anything of hold on to now so i cant judge but from what i have heard of it i think they should release Tension as the 2nd single as it has the potential to really take advantage of the success of padam padam, i hope they dont mess things up by releasing the wrong singles.

It's no PP. PP was for a lot of reasons and luck and timing and all - a MOMENT. Doubt any Kylie song can repeat the success and hype that PP brought. That said, it's a strong follow-up and will hopefully convince the borderline fans to cross the line.
