2 DAYS TO GO!!!! :cheer:

Never been so hyped for an album :w00t:

Also Kylie’s team have got the marketing spot on! Global listening parties tomorrow and then the pop up shop.

Though fans in other countries are having a meltdown about the vinyl in the pop up. Calling her all sorts lol. Wish some would just relax

It's only a slipcase. Some of the entitlement is hilarious.

I'm so excited and have purposefully not listened to the leaks because that experience of listening to a new album on release day is just a joy.

The fact a fair few of her fans are nutters (particularly online) isn't news to anyone.

I'm not hyped anymore than I usually would be for a new Kylie album as its always a big excitement for me and as usual might can't wait to get it and play it in full in all its glory. I loved disco on first listen from start to finish so I hope its the same wuth tension and I think it will.

Chart wise I don't know what to expect here in Ireland, top 5 I feel is guaranteed but where in the top 5 I dont know. Disco was in contention for number 1 here on release week as the press said there was only a few copies in it so i was disappointed when it ended up at 4 officially. Golden went in at 2 here.

So Australia and NZ will get the album on streaming first. We will see what album track is on NMF - Hold On To Now probably. We maybe should start a campaign in UK for everyone to download the song too separately and give Kylie a chance of 3 top 100 hits in the same week

I love it! Queen of Variants :)

It really must annoy some that just want to buy them all in one go.....

Thing is Townsend would still charge for everything in a big way.

i think all these will be available at the pop up store too

Yes it makes hardly any difference what you order and how much…like a £1 saved or

something. If you want exclusive stuff the postage is part of the price. If you want something in general release buy through Amazon or HMV.

I was waiting on that one appearing! A standard cassette with the regular cover is conspicuous by it's absence.

I do think we'll get digital albums on release week and bound to get another vinyl.

(the deluxe cassette ships 26th, but the 22nd is it's release)

I literally can’t call first week sales - all the comments indicate everyone is snapping up everything!

I reckon it’s going to have her biggest opening week since Fever. Would love it to top 100k first week.

Disco started with 36.8k first update…ok maybe I’m being way too optimistic ha ha. It’s a tough market but the pre orders, Padamic, R2 gig, substantially improved airplay and more formats should mean much bigger numbers are possible.

100K would be amazing but i honestly cant see it coming close but would love nothing more than been totally wrong. I think Kylie will open with similar number to Olivia Rodrigos sales last week, nice if kylie could beat it, Olivias sales were 60,272

#1 on Amazon's best sellers list! Also #8 and #20.

Recent interviews (not Kyle Minogue :drama:):

i think maybe BMG/Kylie will maybe have limited their production numbers a little since Disco so not sure what to expect in first week sales. I will just be happy with a number 1 album to grab more attention and then for it to sell steadily in 2023 and hopefully make the top 40 year end

Pitchfork gave 7.3

Disco only got 5.6 and Golden got 5.4

Yes until we start seeing actual data it will be interesting seeing the physical sales breakdowns.

Disco week was insane, the cassette bundle and the signed items…managed the nab all including the signed blue vinyl and standard CD…think they were both released that week. Get ready guys ha ha.

That London pop up could provide an epic sales injection….must be financially viable as a stand-alone. Better than agreeing a deal with HMV or a retailer. Anyone know what the space is used for otherwise?
