I think there will be data missing, plus the Amazon Pink vinyl has been oversold it seems with people getting delay emails.

Can someone who has most of the variants, rank which ones they think look the best in reality?

 

EDIT: Oh and Idk what it is about it, but 'Hands' is an ear worm. Not a standout but it's actually creeping up my affections a lil with each listen.

Silver vinyl now sold out on the Kylie website.

Apparently, annoyingly, the Amazon pink looks the best!

 

I only have the green one at the mo, the rest incoming over the next few days!

the double cassette doesnt shop until 26th either so those sales will not be included in that total.

Here we go. Based on this week’s first sales flash, which includes most physical preorders, yesterday's purchases and downloads (but not streaming), Tension is set to become Kylie’s ninth No1 studio album in the UK. It’s currently outselling the rest of the Top 10 combined having registered 31677 sales in 24 hours. On top of that, it is outperforming Disco, which took two days to reach the ~34k mark. Well done, everyone!

 

If this figure doesn't include streaming, that means we are looking at 55-60K for the whole week.

Because it was Oliver Heldens' single released by another label, I read that it might be some sort of licensing issue or something.

 

My little friend at BMG who also has the inside track at ARIA (pun intended) has told me that "Tension" will debut at number 1 in OZ with the biggest first week sales this decade. The promotion in oz in the last 24 hours has been huge, without actually Kylie, but rather Kamille appearing live on multiple shows.

Yet none of the tracks made the top 50 on Spotify. Are you sure your friend didn't mean BMG's biggest week? That'd be believable to me.

So hopefully on Monday midweek we will be looking at a total something around 38-40k

Correct. Iirc, everything that got a reset wasn't noticed until the official chart on Friday was announced (I believe it was like that for 'Cruel Summer' at least - not in the mids but then appeared top 30 or something on Friday)

 

That sucks regarding Apple Music and '10 out of 10' :drama: (Not that I think it needs to be on the album anyway, but I wanted to repeat play 'Vegas High' and it wouldn't let me skip back and kept restarting 'Story' :lol:).

 

Also, 'Vegas High' is my firm favourite now. Still love everything else, but that is just... :wub:

Aesthetically I love the green/purple one but also the orange/lilac one.

Everyone saying she has all these variants. Many are probably quite limited in volume, like the vinyls? I mean 3 or 4 vinyls are sold out. I don't think 200 huge Kylie fans around the world buying a copy of everything is making her UK sales big lol. It obviously helps but lots of UK fans will buy one copy or just stream the album or buy a copy for a friend for Xmas etc.

Someone on popjustice saying thousands of vinyl not shifting in the Pop Up. Surely there have a new stock each day, or top it up..... any that don't sell will be snapped up on line when they can added there

I dont believe this for one second. That 4k and 300 limited vinyl will sell loads and whatever is not sold by the 24th will be shoved online hun

Great first day sales given streaming data is missing and likely some other sales data not added in. Really hoping she can break the 70k mark! But looks more likely to be in the 55-60k area.

The variants help in addition to fans buying a general copy.

Tension will pick up casual sales and streaming support.
