I don't know who's in what position though, I'd like to think she's safe for #8 (or even #7 if she can ahead of that Lana reissue)

 

I assumed Black Stone Cherry at #5 would be sure to drop past her but that's probably too big a gap to overcome.

Given overall album sales are low this week, if tension drops outside the T10 this week it will be a poor result for 2nd week sales. It’s already looking like it will only sell about 6-7k this week which is a massive drop even taking into account the current market trends when you compare to success of her last couple of albums. BMG need to come up with a plan to boost sales; either some promotion or a new variant on the release.

It's safe for top ten but not much higher.. shame, the drop from Disco's 2nd week is huge.

I knew the market would be tough for week 2 but seeing it just decline more each day is worse than I expected.

 

Sad that PP going to drop out but what a run it has had.

The album will def need some promo and offers to keep it going as its 2nd week is much slower than we all expected.

They will happily sell at full price and take being 20/30 places lower in the charts. They also seem content to hold onto stock at full price (The Disco boxset is still £75 on her website etc.,)

 

I guess BMG are happy with selling 444 digital copies this week with a price tag of £11.99 creating turnover of 5.3k rather than dropping it to £5.99 to shift an extra 150 copies.

Tbf the list is from set list.fm and included non-tour performances too, it’s literally every single time a song has been performed live. I don’t think it was on the On a Night Like This Tour or Fever Tour either.

Agreed.

 

They did offer the store only download with 2 bonus tracks for as low as £3.99 (with the code)…that was overly cheap but whilst it did boost her downloads, in the general scheme say the 2000 extra sales generated less than £10k gross.

 

Some good news, it debuts at #3 on the worldwide chart selling 120k, which is 5k more than Disco and even ahead of Doja Cat who debuts at #4!
