June 15, 20223 yr Harry is currently increasing from the same point last week (due to his tour effect) so don't hold your breath on that one! Would be great if Sam clings on to another top 10 week but I have a sneaky suspicion he'll end up at #11 again. (If he does stay top 10 this week then drops out again he'll have had 2 runs of 2 weeks each in the top 10 though so it has to happen for the 2 prophecy xx)
June 15, 20223 yr Great sales for Kate. Should do 60k+ by the end of the week. I wonder how high she can go on the year-end chart. The year end chart uses total sales right (so excludes ACR)? I assume she'll be safe for 1 million+. She should be on for about 250k+ by the end of this month and then the song will likely get another boost from the Stranger Things finale. Happy to see OneRepublic on track for another top 40 hit, I hope it becomes a good sized hit for them!

I had a feeling he might, as he has a voice I always thought would suit dance music (in fact the first time I heard of Sam a few years back was his cover of Set You Free by N-Trance), but I think it will be in tandem with his rockier/poppier solo stuff. Hozier and Dermot Kennedy have recently featured on tracks by Meduza, so I see it more like that sort of thing.

Presumably in the case of the Christmas/football songs then they just don’t grant any resets but in all other cases they’re open to it if the label pleads its case.

I can totally understand why Christmas songs aren't reset. It would have to be done every year. That's an arduous task
