Do you hate RedOne's electronic bangers, do you wish Mark Ronson had left the guitar to one side, do Zedd's washing machines pop off for you? Which Gaga album do you think has the worst production? :o
June 12, 20223 yr I don't think she has bad production on albums as a whole. Sure, there are some "choices" here and there...
June 12, 20223 yr 'ARTPOP' absolutely, the tacky-sounding washing machine production really tanks some of song quality on there :(
June 12, 20223 yr Author It's easily ARTPOP for me here too. I get that it's sort of supposed to be jarring but quality control was needed in places - it's a bit MUCH at times (again, that's the whole point - but still)

The electrifying stadium-ready sounds of Electric Chapel, the glistening sounds of Marry the Night, the ethereal sax of Hair and The Edge of Glory, the fist-pumping Heavy Metal Lover, Scheisse et al, the haunting Bloody Mary. I could go on! :no:

I could go on! :no: What I would give to go back and listen to that album for the very first time again. I remember doing so back in 2011 like it was yesterday. Incredible times. :heart:
June 14, 20223 yr Author I remember it vividly too. In fact from its release to the end of that summer, it's pretty much all I listened to!
June 14, 20223 yr I remember the first time hearing 'Scheiße' at the Mugler show and thinking... No other girl has production like this. The album is a lot and the definition of maximalist but the production is impressive throughout. 'ARTPOP', on the other hand, has aged like sick in some places...
