June 20, 20223 yr If Drake Scored the No. 1 Album, It would be the first Dance no. 1 Album since 2015 - Faithless 2.0 By Faithless, the two weeks prior to that there had also been Dance no. 1 albums in the form of Rudimental's We Are The Genaration and Disclosure's Carcral. Uhm Chromatica says hi!  Chromatica draws inspiration from 1990s house music, seeing Gaga adopt a cyberpunk-inspired persona. I would also argue that Future Nostalgia is dance.

June 20, 20223 yr 6k is not as big a lead for Foals as I expected at this stage, unless they have more physical sales to be added later in the week I think Drake has a reasonable chance of overtaking (by comparison, Florence had a ~13k lead over Kendrick in the Monday mids and ended up only beating him by ~3k). I hadn't really considered the possibility of Harry just returning to #1 again though, that's entirely possible still.
June 20, 20223 yr Kind of, They are both great records but i would say they lean into the genre of Dance-Pop more. Billboard categorizes Chromatica as dance.  I don't like the idea that only male artists not coming from pop genre can do dance. If it's a woman it's always "dance pop" There are so many great Female musicians that i would class as Dance artists, like the blessed madonna (She had my most played track of 2021:D) Peggy Gou, Honey Djion. June 20, 20223 yr Author Wow i assumed this'd be an easy #1 for Drake :unsure: I imagine he'll still overtake Foals unless they do a *huge* campaign for it, but then Harry has a good chance as well assuming his sales stabilise or increase from last weekÂ
