The definitions are quite broad tbf, but Chromatica and Future Nostalgia are undeniably more fitting of having a 'dance' label over Drake's! Whether they lean into pop too is besides the point as they cross different genres but both are outlandishly dance in my opinion!

#37 for Calum’s new album is a disappointment :drama:

His last one entered at #4 and although he hasn’t got a hit single this era was expecting it to be a comfortable Top 20 at least.

Alesso / Zara coming to save the charts at #85 in the midweeks :cheeseblock: 2022 is the year ZARA SLAYS
I find myself every week looking to see where Heat Waves is and hoping it can stay in the top 40 to continue its run, clinging on at #40 but feel it may get pushed out but hopefully not! Good weather incoming

Think that's looking like Harry has a pretty good chance of being back at #1 on the albums this week, he is up a fair bit on last week's Monday update! May end up fairly close between all of the top 3 though?

The Smile should be able to hang onto #4, fairly happy with that.

also glad massive replaced texts go green, because although i do not like drake much at all, massive is one of his better tracks
Really disappointing for Calum Scott. Capitol has got to be one of the worst labels I’ve ever seen, particularly with second album rollouts
I’m not quite sure where it all went from for Calum, his first album still had two huge singles, You Are The Reason was huge despite the peak and it always seems to get a massive boost throughout the year as it’s used on a television programme

They’ve also gone down the wrong route by releasing a double vinyl for the album - it’s £37-39 most places, and the CD is nearly £13 on Amazon, neither are going to help casual sales.

All this Drake stuff needs to drop out of the top 10 fast by Friday. Imagine not releasing anything worth listening to in almost four years and still being able to album bomb.

LF System looking safe for #3 which is good news. Hopefully another climb next week.

Oh yes, pleasantly surprised that LF SYSTEM are now pretty comfortably ahead of Cat Burns!
