Lol at people thinking Future Nostalgia or Chromatica or even Drake are dance albums

Just cos you can dance to something it doesnt make it dance music

You can drunk dance to Bon Jovi at a wedding and that doesnt make it dance music either 😅

Oh Kate is much further ahead than I was expecting, looking pretty safe for a 2nd week *.*

Bit disappointing sales x Foals

Actually considering the 1 day of atreams missing, Harry should remain at @1

Unless Foals campaign for@1

This is a higher Monday midweek sale than either of Foals' 2019 albums! (Part 1 had 14.9k on Monday / 26.1k on Friday, Part 2 had 10.7k on Monday / 20.5k on Friday, actually both seem like surprisingly big Monday to Friday jumps for a band like them so that suggests they may have a better chance of staying #1 this week than it looks, unless it's just a case of more of their sales being counted earlier this time).

The smaller gap than I expected is actually more from Drake being higher than I expected rather than Foals being lower.

Just noticed Foals' debut album 'Antidotes' is showing up as a re-entry at #14, not listed in the update :magic: Presuming that's had a vinyl reissue this week?
That’s brilliant for him, none of his albums have charted since 2014...

And he released a GH album too soon as well which only got to #11. He should’ve done a GH album this year or next with all his hits

He's only had about 2 more hits since releasing that lol

He had a third single from his Live Life Living album called "10 Million People" which I thought was a great deep house track but shame it flopped

Gutted for Calum Scott. I was expecting top 10 on first update. Looks like he will struggle to even chart!

Exactly! I wasn't even expecting him to show up anywhere in the mids so #23 is quite a pleasant surprise even if he barely scrapes the top 100 come Friday. I haven't heard this album yet but his last one had some decent tracks on it so it was a shame it didn't chart.

None of the 5 singles released for it have done anything though and "Where Are You Now" isn't included on the album. :( Hopefully he'll manage to stay top 100.

I haven't seen it in local HMV, no cds or vinyls.. don't know if there is an issue (I do live in his home city though)

I'm always surprised how little support he gets from Radio 2.

Even if all his songs sound the same.

but wait I think it's not out physically yet, looking at his website I think the CD is out next week and the vinyl is not out until August. A scattered release for an artist like him does make zero sense.

EDIT: Actually his website says the CD ships on Jun 23, like Thursday? I guess that means it would still count for this week but they're not in the Mids yet?

Surprise releases are really f***ed nowadays aren't they as unless the physical stock is available to buy with them... the sales don't count, right? Though I can't imagine Drake has many fans who want to own his actual physical CDS?
So about Beyonce Break My Soul, I'm going for the very save/conservative prediction the song will at least get top 40 debut by Friday given the momentum she get on AM UK.

Artists that do surprise releases are those that rely on streams and sell zero physicals, no one is gonna buy 7 vinyl variants for Drake's album.
