June 19, 20223 yr Cracking use of sample on that one Honestly, one of the best I’ve heard in a while, I hope it can take off and become a hit! Here’s the lyric video; wXWZiGnaeqo
June 27, 20223 yr Splitting this out into its own thread. I think this could go on to bigger things over the summer. It was Hottest Record on Radio 1 on Saturday and has also received playlist slots on Kiss, Capital and Capital Dance already.
June 27, 20223 yr It's also #23 on Shazam now. Will definitely be as huge as "Hear Me Now"! That would take quite some doing given that's on 593m Spotistreams. Though I do think it has a much better chance of becoming a UK hit obviously.
June 27, 20223 yr What an INCREDIBLE sample usage :cheeseblock: Absolute bop and it deserves to be a big hit!
June 30, 20223 yr I know the sampling 90s dance songs thing is oversaturated at the moment, but this really works! At least it's an inspired use of the sample with a pretty nifty chorus built around it.
July 2, 20223 yr I know those two 90s dance anthems have been sampled to death now but there's something about Ella Eyre that just adds a new edge to it. Edited April 9Apr 9 by montyj
July 16, 20222 yr I quite like it but they’ve missed the sound’s TikTok trend by about 2 months now. It’s not even that inspired really, they just put some vocals over the bit that went viral! Not much different to Jason Derulo’s recent effort really, although this one is very listenable.
July 16, 20222 yr That didn't stop "Friday" being a huge hit last year so shouldn't matter. This NEEDS to smash like yesterday.
July 16, 20222 yr This'll definitely be one of the most undeserved flops of 2022 if it doesn't pick up :drama:
July 16, 20222 yr It reached #1 in the latest UK Cool Cuts chart  There is hope, It has been only a month since its release zk1kFomh6Qw Edited July 16, 20222 yr by JOTA
