July 13, 20223 yr I don't think he's likely to drop any lower than #4? Paolo has closed the gap by even less than Burna did (obviously, as he's fallen behind Burna) and isn't going to benefit as much from streaming catching up.

July 13, 20223 yr Where Are You Now replacing Mixed Emotions is not the best of swaps from Monday. I thought Green Green Grass would do well but I didn't really see it climbing as high as Budapest - although #3 & #4 should be very close.

They’re not far off double what Kate has amassed. kate would be on just over 40k w/o acr (i think) rn whilst LF are on 37k, so i think kate would still be the "true" #1 this week, but they're rapidly closing the gap so i feel like next week they could be the "true" #1
July 13, 20223 yr Kate will still have decent download numbers so I think she would be under 40k on SCR now - probably still a little ahead of LF SYSTEM but yeah, a much smaller gap than last week so LF SYSTEM may well have the legit #1 next week if not this week.

July 13, 20223 yr Ok I think I have just heard the next big summer HIT!! It sounded super catchy, so it will probably be the next no.1 if Beyoncé falters and does an About Damn Time. I shazamed it and it's called Babycakes. It sounds kinds like a new, modern take on chipmunk dance pop, but mixed with midtempo dance beats. There's nothing like it in the charts, and if I had to compare it would be a mix of Lady by Mojo, Lola's Theme, and modern, Cvim-style dance tracks all rolled into one! It was played at the gym btw, and they are always like ahead of the curve with the next big dance craze. They played Lizzo first before anyone.

Also, AIW, WDYG and SGU for ACR next please Bam Bam and Peru were both on Ed's Spotify page as new releases, and 'This Is Ed Sheeran' playlist. 'For My Hand' doesn't exist on Ed's spotify page or 'This Is Ed Sheeran' list, plus the music video is on Burna Boy's channel, and Ed's team haven't posted any direct links for fans to easily find the music video on Burna Boy's music services, maybe because Burna Boy is more focussed on pushing his new album and single 'Last Last' which is discounted on UK itunes and impacted US radio this week, also released 'Vanilla' music video this week. :)

July 14, 20223 yr Glad that 'Last Last' has climbed a few places since First Look, I guess that was just the Amazon bias holding it back a bit, it's up to about where I expected it would be now. 'For My Hand' looking like it's now safe to debut in the top 40 after all too so it's at least not a second week in a row of zero brand new entries (and we'll get Metallica and Tiësto climbing in too). Burna Boy only closing the gap to James Bay's album by a few hundred since Monday so James could cling onto a top 3 debut. Even if the video has a big impact it's not going to be that soon! Would be very surprised at this point if CWLCD dropped out of the top 10 (sadly) Yeh it’ll just extend the chart run of the new Harry single rather than repeak!
