August 21, 20222 yr Loving this season so far, The Snatch Game episode is light years ahead of season 1's, in-fact all 4 episodes of 2 are far better than the entire of season 1. I really love this cast Spankie Jackson, Hannah Conda, Kween Kong, Yuri Guaii & Molly Poppinz are my faves, think Beverly Killz will be out next & so glad that Minnie has gone, sense really off vibes about her & just plain nasty. The lipsyncs have been awesome so far, apart from Bev VS Minnie, Bev slayed it, but Minnie WTF was she doing, so cringey. Looking forward to the rest of the season, my predictions for the next couple of weeks = Beverly Killz out next, then Molly in 5th place & Kween Kong in 4th place. TOP 3 Spankie Jackson Hannah Conda Yuri Guaii but be happy with a top 4 including Kween Kong.
August 21, 20222 yr Author Pretty much disagree with you guys on Hannah. Everything she has given is SO generic, drag queen 101. A tired Liza impression, sure, why not. Watch her pull out Cher for the Rusical or something. I do think this season is better than 1 - a more enjoyable watch - but the production quality is still shite, Ru and Michelle's chemistry with Rhys is still non-existent and Ru looks like she can't wait to leave every ep. At least the lipsyncs are good and some of the queens are giving good tv. I liked Minnie although she was playing the villain. I hope Kween Kong or Spankie is the winner of those left. I hope Molly Poppins goes next as honestly I've got nothing from her all season long.

August 27, 20222 yr yuri :( everyone was strong this week so i would have loved them to do a walkover episode. really happy to see kong come out of her shell, hopefull a real contender to hannah is emerging (let's face it, as much as we love her spankie is NOT winning)
August 27, 20222 yr I feel like they should have done a non elim, nobody really did badly although that was the right bottom 2. They justifiably could have just kept Yuri though as they both did really well in the lipsync and Molly to be honest feels like a non entity, Karen from Financing her way through :lol:
August 27, 20222 yr i like molly, she's sweet and funny and is obviously very seasoned. i think she's just unfortunate in that hannah conda is doing all the same things but better this season.
August 27, 20222 yr Author Hannah was stronger this episode than she has been but she's still not really my cup of tea. I agree that Molly is just the value version too, it is odd that even in challenges you wouldn't think it, like the first design challenge, they went for similar paths. Bad luck to Yuri, their bed was made this team though as soon as all the strongest performers picked each other. I do also think they had a huge challenge this episode having to choreograph themselves with probably not much time because the budget is a shoestring again. I'm still pulling for Spankie or Kween Kong to win. Would love Beverly to go from strength to strength next week as well, I think she should've scored a little better than never placing above safe so far this season. I might have given Kween Kong the solo win this episode as both Hannah and Spankie were a bit below par on the runway.
September 3, 20222 yr I actually liked that as a branding challenge, a fun twist on a challenge that often can be really boring or weird with no clear objective but it was fun that the queens had to do it around their hometowns like that, and Hannah was definitely the best for me as she really thought about how to elevate it in a way that none of the others did. She's so polished and knows exactly what makes her a star and hones in on that every single time, which does make her a bit predictable where you know what you'll get, but I don't mind that when she is so good! I prefer Spankie's unique bizarre humour and am rooting for her to win, but Hannah is a great rep of the Aussie drag scene and I'd be happy for her to win too. i like molly, she's sweet and funny and is obviously very seasoned. i think she's just unfortunate in that hannah conda is doing all the same things but better this season. Oh I agree I think she's good at what she does but just isn't standing out, mostly due to Hannah covering the same ground, despite winning week 1 it feel like she is yet to have a breakout moment. I guess it's just unfortunate when you're a second fiddle to someone who has dominated the season in a smaller cast.

September 10, 20222 yr I’m so unimpressed with this season. Can’t wait until it’s over. :/ Kween Kong is so overrated, the lip sync... was that... it? Erm ok let’s roll on the floor a few times, do a split at random times that don’t fit the song at all and call that a win I guess. Meh. Hannah to win at this point. No way they are crowning Spankie with those outfits but you never know, oh LAWD can you imagine

September 10, 20222 yr Spankie is SO c**t that I genuinely don't care about her unpolished aesthetic, she just has I T. I think with Aussie/Kiwi drag especially, she really represents that rough edge and unpredictable zany humour whilst being totally herself. I can't see pat her winning as Ru and Michelle seem to LOVE her, it speaks volumes that they don't care about her aesthetic. I like Hannah, and she absolutely serves the best drag out of this whole cast, she's pretty funny and comes across well enough, but I don't get that winner spark, she just falls short there for me.

September 11, 20222 yr It's definitely finding its feet a lot more I feel, a lot of the issues with S1 (the pushing of certain queens, weird/boring challenges, odd judging) have been solved, there's still some weird bits of editing and it would have been nice for it be less of a two horse race but the latter is a case from a lot of series! I would still like more of an Aussie/Kiwi culture focus too, but there were strides towards that this season (the drag brunch challenge, I know that's a big part of Aussie drag, plus there at least being a Prisoner acting challenge and some decent Aussie lipsync songs in Get Outta My Way and chains) though, I think with Ru and Michelle still at the helm it does marr that a bit but Rhys is great! I just want a Lee Lin Chin or Julia Morris Snatch Game, I want Ricki-Lee as a guest judge, and I want a camp as f*** lipsync to Young Divas - This Time I Know It's For Real or Nikki Webster - Strawberry Kisses :lol: But it's definitely a very solid season of Drag Race, mostly thanks to Spankie, Kween and Yuri, so again I agree the Kiwi queens are holding things up!

Bottom 2 week 1 I assume you mean :P There's also Luquisha Lubamba from Drag Race Italia, who actually basically got eliminated but they were like "nah come back" lmao like Kandy in S13 in the Rusical, off the top of my head I can't think of any others though! Should also be Elektra Shock though if she wasn't robbed BLIND the whole of season 1 D:
