The argument isn't that LF SYSTEM and Eliza Rose are "revolutionary" songs. It's just that they are refreshing because they are big dance hits that don't sound exactly the same as every single other big dance hit from the last few years which is a sound that (imo) got extremely stale a long time ago. Obviously fair enough if you don't agree that it's a good change but it's definitely a change.

Sure, have an opinion, but there's no need to have a go at other members for enjoying the music. Comments like "I prefer songs with a melody and personality", "Buzzjack fawn over boring minilamistic dance lmao" are uncalled for and unnecessary music elitism.

 

Both songs have a melody with at least a 4 to 6 note sequence. BOTA draws from Eliza’s own inspiration and personality. So if the opinion is that the song has no melody or personality, it's wrong.

Whatever you say, but I’m more than here for people to be able to fully express how they’re feeling as long as they’re not hurting anyone. And I don’t think anyone was hurt tbh.

Yes and no one is arguing someone expressing their opinion. I thought you were allowed to post an opinion without bashing others because they like something different to what you personally like? This sort of dance doesn't normally make the charts anymore and that's why some of us are welcoming it.
