Played well. Everton were woeful but the first half was terrific when you consider not having Casemiro and Eriksen and as great as it is to have them back.

That's what you get with De Gea. He has a string of worldie performances which are the only reason we keep the score down but when he has an off day, it's an absolute stinker.

The bigger concern are these pair of clowns at CB for the rest of the season. Hopefully now at least Shaw is back he can replace Maguire at the weekend.

You have improved a lot and will buy again in the summer as usual so it’s not impossible they can turn some of those results next season imo!
We spend heavily every summer and it makes scant difference! ETH at least gives the impression he has what it takes to get us there but things change fast in football as we see every season.

They'll buy again, but they are torn between what type of club they are. They spent big on Antony who looks terrible and Ten Haag's attacking patterns are non-existent. Rashford has saved them in that regard. Obviously clear they need a striker and Kane is the obvious move, but there's no chance that deal is getting done early in the window if it happens.

As for the ownership.. I think it will be Ineos as ultimately I don't think the Glazers want to fully sell. Clearly the Qatar bid could blow Ineos out of the water, but even though they;re trying their best to hide behind a front, they can't give too much away.

Why buy Kane if they have Rashford?

I didn’t enjoy the Anthony Dunk square up the other night, Dunk would have floored him lol

United Are looking in with a good chance of taking their very first WSL title and qualifying for the Champions League for the first time
We're really trying to make this top 4 battle more complicated than it needs to be! At least our women are not doing the same in the WSL.

I don't think I'll ever stop laughing if you don't get to the Top 4. Still, I think you'll get there as you'll win most of your home games which should be about enough.

Ten Haag has "revolutionised" Man Utd and Liverpool are old & finished, yet probably going go finish within 3 points of each other. Football's a funny old game.

That would be a 37 point swing in United's favour from last season so that sounds like a pretty fair comment.

Don't think Ten Haag is coming close to challenging Pep at the top of the league though.

Maybe not in the immediate future but further down the line who knows? there will eventually be a period when Manchester City will not be on top anymore as nothing can last forever and when it comes to Pep himself can you see him still being their manager for another 10-15 years?

Besides on the evidence of this season where's the guarantee that Jurgen Klopp will challenge him going forward? Liverpool have gone from nearly winning everything to winning absolutely nothing.

And how long will your patience last until you want a new manager in? Pep is going to be around for another few seasons with his new contact. I'd say it's way more likely at this stage that Pep outlasts Ten Haag.

Liverpool's team needs some surgery, that much has been clear since the first game of the season when Fulham battered us. We've been terrible for most of the season, which every fan will admit. There are lots of mitigating factors for that though and shock, we have near enough a full strength team for the first time all season and we've actually found some form and look somewhat like the Liverpool people have been acustomed to under Klopp.

Even if Pep outlasts Ten Haag it wont matter, it's the club itself rather than the manager or any individual player that is more important. Man City will not be winning like how they are now forever, there will be a period where the balance will shift just like how it's shifted for various times over the past decades for teams that had a lot of success. Compared to last season and a few seasons before that Man Utd are improving and it's about continuing that into the future, we've already done better this season than a lot of people myself included thought we would and I don't think many people expect anything crazy to happen next season.

Erik ten Hag believes Marcus Rashford and Manchester United "will find each other" in the striker's ongoing contract discussions.

Rashford has scored 29 goals in all competitions for his boyhood club this season, his best in a United shirt.

Speaking before the visit to Bournemouth on Saturday, Ten Hag was asked for an update on the negotiations regarding the England international's future.

"I know [it is taking time]," he said.

"But I don't talk about the process. This is not important at the moment for me or Rashy.

"For him, it is to get more goals this season and he is playing a wonderful season and the team is playing a wonderful season.

"We have to get into the Champions League and focus on that. Marcus wants to stay and we want him to stay, so I think we will find each other."
