I think Spotify is gonna give crazy support to Lewis's comeback no matter how good/bad it is and will be insta-added as track#1 on HH and that's a huge advantage for a new track

Drugs From Amsterdam in the top 200, literally just discovered that one a couple of days ago and here for it to become a hit!

 

Also delighted to see Mirrorball climbing, pleasantly surprised that they are having some stability with such an uncommercial sound and the song keeps growing on me. Really hope this can keep climbing again from now on.

 

I'm still not sold on the Guetta/Bebe song but it's too bland and average to really hate so I wouldn't be mad at it getting to #1, especially if we're going to be stuck with the new Lewis Capaldi song there for weeks and weeks on end afterwards.

I wasn't expecting such a big boost for David/Bebe from the Today's Top Hits add (plus the momentum the song had anyway) :cheeseblock: It's top 10 on Global Spotify now.

 

I hope it becomes big enough to block Lewis Capaldi next week. :kink:

 

 

Capaldi going to #1 next week seems like an inevitability, I just hope it doesn't say there for weeks on end.

 

 

Urgh God, Lewis Capaldi releasing an album in 2019 and coming back now makes it feel like the pandemic has actually lasted four years.

Just got a push notification from Spotify on my phone declaring that Eliza is the first female dance number one in 22 years. Don't think I've had this notication before for a number one?

I do think David/Bebe could still pull off a #1 this week, they're catching up fast to Eliza so doesn't seem impossible - especially with low sales at the moment.

Well that’s obviously not true lol

I think they could too, although I think it will obviously depend if they can reach #1 on Spotify by Monday and if they can get a decent lead. Unfortunately we don't know what kind of lead they have on itunes at the moment.

 

And of course, even if Lewis does reach #1 on its first week (which is quite likely) that doesn't mean it will be #1 for ages or I'm Good won't overtake at some point.

Oh I thought the livepopbars weren't accurate anymore? I had lbeen ooking at Kworb for accurate figures but they haven't been updating for the last two weeks.
