Same here, think it is the best thing she has put out in a good while.

I quite enjoyed Five More Hours, Loyal and Ayo actually as well as Beautiful People but his recent hits haven’t been good whatsoever, particularly this new one but No Guidance was also incredibly dull (and also somehow a big hit)
Just listened to ‘Psycho’ and oh my, it is horrible! I think it is the worst something called a song I have heard this year.
Whaaaat? 'Don't Wake Me Up' is probably his one song that I actually love  (well, that and his Pitbull collab)

'Beautiful People' is the only good Chris Brown track and thats a collab too. Although DWMU is his best solo solo track I agree.

It's loads better than 'Doja' - Aitch's part is fairly good. In fact the song sounds like it could be a grower.

Beautiful People is his best for me!

'Forever', 'With You', 'No Air' and 'Beautiful People' are the only ones of his I really like ('Crawl' and the Keri Hilson collab are also okay too). Everything else of his is crap imo.

Chris Brown peaked with his first hit for me, 'Run It!' is still a banger and he hasn't really come close to it since. The large majority of the hits he's had post Rihanna incident have been at best just ok so for the most part haven't really had to worry too much about separating art from artist in criticising them lol but I will give him that 'Beautiful People' and 'Ayo' were good songs as well (and 'Do It Again' including features), 'Go Crazy' was decent too so I didn't mind too much that one becoming a hit if we have to keep letting him have success. :') that 'Under The Influence' has now outpeaked that though... so now being his highest charter since the similarly dirgy 'No Guidance', but that at least had the factor of being a Drake collab to explain its success.

'Don't Wake Me Up' is easily the worst song I've heard from him though, the autotune is utterly hideous. :puke:

Chris Brown aside, that's a decent start on Spotify as well for Fred, definitely looks like it should be safe to be another top 100 debut for him!

32 Beyonce - Cuff it

36 Fred Again - Danielle

37 AM & Aitch - Psycho

55 Jax - Victoria's secret

68 M22 & Ella Henderson

I really like Don’t Wake Me Up too - find it euphoric  ! With You, Forever, Beautiful People and Go Crazy are also all really good for me, but he has plenty of rubbish too.

Don't Wake Me Up is also the only solo one of his I love post noughties. The autotune is overdone but I love the production and melody.

Forever, With You and No Air are all still great from 2008 imo, as well as Keri Hilson collab Superhuman which isn't on Spotify, but I'd rather not give him the time of day, so I'm not miffed I haven't enjoyed anything of his since 2012

I obviously know what they were going for with Don't Wake Me Up but at parts it sounded like Jessie J, Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera hybridised and then we're being burned alive. I think Beautiful People was better as a euphoric dance song because although his voice has lots of effects on that song too it sounds more like he's underwater and it's not so shrill.

No Air, although it's not a dance song, was very euphoric too. It was very shouty too but not as grating to listen to because their voices sounded more natural in it.

I always felt the ‘Dont Wake Me Up’ autotune was a stylistic decision and was symbolising the frustration a person has at being woken up.

I also find it amusing how Nicki Minaj is uncredited on it.

I’m very pleased at ‘Under the Influence’s success & baffled at this point no major labels arent playlisting. Obviously the public reeally like the song.

No Air is the best thing CB has ever done and thats probably down to Jordin Sparks :D cannpt recall any other single of his

Spotify
