Lately kworb updates for Apple are very slow, maybe they've changed things in their updating but doesn't look like it's updating as often as it used to

Yay Paramore :wub: eagerly anticipating the Spotify update.

 

I hope they can score a top 40 with this like My Chemical Romance, from the same pop-punk/emo era, did with their new song this year. Obviously both of their respective latest material isn't that sound specifically and there was a longer wait for MCR, but yeah - would be happy to see it for them too as I'm really loving it.

Coolio is #8 today! Paramore #31, new Arctic Monkeys #69 and K-Trap #142.

All three of those did peak higher on the Spotify charts back when AM was released though. The climbs today are probably because their tour tickets went on sale!

Still might surely? It's a bit soon to say.

She'd been hyping it up for ages on Tik Tok so that made me hopegul but I probably got ahead of myself.

I know there's a big risk of front loadedness but frankly amazing to see Arctic Monkeys debuting higher than a new Ed Sheeran song on the first half day of streams. :cheeseblock:

Sure Arctic Monkeys have more fans than Ed.

Ed relies on heavy playlisting and the GP but it very apparent with his last release he doesn't have a hardcore fanbase.

Not quite as high as I predicted for Coolio but glad he is top 10 at least! Interested to see if he does make the top 100 today indeed.

 

Nice to see Paramore top 40, not sure that's high enough for it to challenge for an official top 40 position but at least it's doing a lot better than Hayley's solo releases (quite sad that those got paid dust, I really liked both of her solo albums).

 

'There'd Better Be A Mirrorball' having a huge climb today back up to #56 - I guess it's aided by being track 2 on the 'Body Paint' single but still good that it's not being completely lost amongst their older songs climbing from the tour going on sale. '505' for a new peak next week?

 

Probably already safe to say this Ed release won't be going for a #1 debut, I knew it from the moment it actually got good initial online impressions :P (seriously though aside from having CDs on offer it does look like it's currently more 'promo/soundtrack single' than 'new Ed single' with its low HH add and Radio 1 not even immediately playlisting it).
