That's not the only thing about YUNGBLUD that's unfortunate. x (having said that, 'The Funeral' is actually one of his best / actually decent songs) If this was Tom Odell's carefully chosen moment for a 3-week reset, he's chosen it horrendously! ...although as with Sam Fender and Becky Hill's recent resets, there is a fairly strong chance this return to the top 40 lasts more than 3 weeks anyway.

September 9, 20223 yr This drip feed of physical sales for 'Late Night Talking' really making for a pretty weird chart run (although I guess it was on the rise on streaming this week as well tbf). Happy to see 'Ferrari' now finally outpeaking 'More Than Friends' after stalling last week. Not much else good going on in the top 10 this week. Happy to see 'Bad Habit' back at its peak but grr still so close to the top 10. The reset for 'Another Love' remains a bit farcical but I do still love the song so I'm not mad at it recharting so highly really, it is certainly still better than a lot of the other current hits in the same region (case in point the song it's kept at #21 this week). Nice to see there was nothing to worry about re: Arctic Monkeys' chances of making the top 40 with them managing a solid climb this week, I do wonder though if they could have debuted top 20 if they had a full first week! Cool to see new peaks again for Ghost, Fred again.. (this has grown on me, still find the vocal sample quite grating but I fully love the instrumental now so I can look past it a little more easily) and Oxlade, and the Harry and Lizzo songs are both decent as well, cool to see more post-album releases rising into the top 40 I guess.
