Lewis Capaldi could score a third #1 single this week with Forget Me, with last week's top two of David Guetta and Eliza Rose being his closest competition. There's also new tracks from Kygo, Björk, 5 Seconds of Summer, Phoenix, Knucks, Bru-C and Central Cee

Robbie Williams' re-worked hits collection XXV could become his 14th #1, with Ozzy Osbourne's Patient Number 9 also set for a high debut. A busy week with new releases from Parkway Drive with Darker Still, The Midnight with Heroes and Jockstrap with I Love You Jennifer B, plus albums from The Amazons, Ari Lennox, John Legend, Yeat, NAV, Sudan Archives, Santigold, Oliver Sim, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, KT Tunstall, Afghan Wigs and EDEN

Breakdown of the week

- Saturday: Some information may be posted on social media but it is likely to be missing most streaming data and is unrepresentative.

- Sunday: Official First Look Chart on Radio 1 from 6-7pm. Please do not post spoilers on the forum in advance as this ruins the countdown for any listeners.

- Monday: OCC Top 100 from 5:45pm

- Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one.

- Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed.

- Thursday: See Tuesday.

Other notes (please read)

- You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod).

- Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue.

- Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored. Any chart requests between No. 41 to 100 will not be answered after Monday's update.

- To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads.

very interesting chart battle in singles this week with Lewis vs I'm Blue vs BOTA
I am guessing that the presenters Vick and Katie will tell us just before 7pm what the First Look number 1 would have been.

Its official a week tomorrow is a Bank Holiday Monday, next Sunday's First Look Chart doesn't look promising.

Any moaners, please open another discussion topic about it

or just get over it and don't moan, that works too

I don't think the bank holiday specifically means there won't be a First Look chart (after all, it's the Monday that's a holiday, not the Sunday) but whether Radio 1 will broadcast one still within the mourning period, I'm not sure. Hopefully at the very least they'll post an update on the website (fingers crossed for that tonight too)
Very interestingly, First Look seems to have reappeared in the Radio 1 schedule for tonight
Doesn’t look like the Queen’s death is having any impact whatsoever on the chart itself - no sign of K*nt and the Gang even!
Very interestingly, First Look seems to have reappeared in the Radio 1 schedule for tonight

I don't think playing First Look or the Official Chart is disrespectful, presenters can use a more sensible tone and just play the calmer sounding rising songs or new entries. So maybe a shorter lasting show then?

I listened to R1 on Fri afternoon and they were playing regular pop music

Olivia Rodrigo, Joel Corry, David Guetta, Post Malone

^ It's still down as being 6 to 7. We'll see how they approach it I suppose!

This has changed from earlier

Earlier on it just read 16:00 to 19:00 Radio 1 Life Hacks for 3 hours. Looks promising...
