Oh yes sorry I am already flopping at posting these again

The start of this week's session was great, loved all of the first 5 songs and all but one were new to me (The Chemical Brothers I had heard before but not for a while so good to refamiliarise). Other good discoveries from Wu-Tang Clan, Pulp, Jane McDonald, Manic Street Preachers + Portishead and Oasis from the bonuses, and others I'd heard before but good to get more familiar with from Radiohead and Garbage and of course plenty of great songs I knew well already (The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim and Massive Attack my biggest faves). Great week.

Next week: Britney Spears - E-Mail My Heart? (#2 album)

Prime "Jamelia slot" material tbh

Just putting this here in case you didn't see it in the retro forum, I will be hosting an albums listening session tomorrow evening at 8pm. We will be listening to Leftism by Leftfield and A New World Record by ELO.

Ooh thanks, I hadn't seen that yet - will definitely aim to be there for that!

I'm not familiar at all with Jeff Beck's music but 'Hi-Ho Silver Lining' looks like it'd be a good pick since it was, on inspection, a fairly sizeable mid-teens hit on two separate occasions.

Oh, I missed this :(

I guess I can promote in here since it is a #1 album as well. We are doing a listen through of James Blunt's Back To Bedlam tonight 9 time start. Wardy will be linking in the lounge promotion and the 2000's!

Mm I think I'll give that one a miss as Blunty isn't my cup of tea but open to future 00s album listenthroughs too.

Ngl I have no clue who Robbie Bachman was but sure x (RIP)

We'll get to hear You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet by Bachman-Turner Overdrive when we do the number 2s. That's the only one I know by them so I'm happy to go with Roll On Down The Highway.
