Posted October 1, 20224 yr Let's keep it going with 2007. As before there are way too many songs so you've got a week to vote in the qualifier poll - just vote for however many you like and we'll take the top 40 (give or take a few). Because Buzzjack polls are a bit of a pain when there's this many poll options please use the Google Forms link to vote. Otherwise use this thread to advertise your faves or make predictions.
October 1, 20224 yr It's always good to remember how successful some of these songs are when looking through the list, Men's Needs + Second, Minute or Hour  Loads of great songs in this, tried my best to keep my votes down but so much there I still listen to. Hoping for a strong performance for Young Folks
October 1, 20224 yr Amerie - Take Control (#10), Hard-Fi - Suburban Knights (#7), and Mark Ronson feat. Lily Allen - Oh My God (#8) were Top 10 hits so shouldn't qualify. Voted for: Amy McDonald, Amy Winehouse x2, Armand Van Helden, Cribs, Holloways, Kaiser Chiefs, Muse, Peter Bjorn et al, Wombats. Lots of others I like, but limited it to 10. if Headlines comes anywhere near winning this...
October 1, 20224 yr Author Thanks, I will remove those. I'd be surprised if Headlines did particularly well, it's never been much-loved on the forum at least in the time I've been here.
October 4, 20224 yr Great list! The indie landfill scene was STRONG in 2007. Wasn’t it just? I actually loved that era. I know people on here hated it but a lot of it was right up my street.
