Tbh they seem to change those Thursday streams rules depending on how they’re feeling in any given week - just ask Mariah!

This - we have no idea how they are calculated, even the OCC don’t like to admit that Thursday streams are estimated averages (they often tell people in chart battles to stream on a Thursday when they know full well it doesn’t count  ).

Love that a 2024 Kylie release has achieved that - in the streaming era I never thought we’d see that in the UK or US.

It was definitely something I'll never forget/never quite believe was actually real!

Guess we’ll just have to wait and see now ha ha…..even if she misses the top 30 because of the weird calculation or just because it’s been out streamed genuinely it’s still been a bloody fantastic week.

Spotify is always a day late in their reporting, but it seems the other services are usually on time lately!
Hopefully the stream averaging works in her favour. I'd hate at this point if it ended up 31 with top 30 in her grasp. Going top 40 is still brilliant and a week ago I thought entering the top 100 would be great, greed is setting in after a crazy week of progress that I'd find 31 frustrating.
It's been added to Hot Hits Aus, which gives me hope for HHUK

I do hope so! Hot Hits UK usually updates on Fridays doesn’t it? I’ve got my fingers crossed!

Thrilled it’s still Top 30 in the midweeks, the extended mix should keep it there if not help it climb.

Yes usually midnight tonight, though might wait til later because of Karma Remix

I would be quite fuming if they didn’t add her to HHUK with such gains and position to be honest! But at the same time won’t be surprised if they don’t add her. 😒

I feel it should easily cross 13k sales on Friday, with streaming growing, unaccounted yesterday’s Spotify streams and the new download of extended mix.

Hot Hits Australia is a great sign!

I know we've been highly focused on how it's doing in the UK, but in Australia she's not had a Top 100 since Dancing (#46 - 2018) or a Top 40 since Timebomb (#12 - 2012) so I'm excited to see how Padam Padam charts there too.

Does Australia have midweek charts published? I’ve not heard anything about how Padam Padam is doing outside of the UK, but I wasn’t sure if that’s because it’s not set to chart or the information isn’t available.

I'm not sure if midweeks are a thing there! Hopefully we'll get a nice surprise tomorrow. It was #1 on iTunes there until the invasion of Tina Turner songs (RIP  ). It was Top 30 on Apple Music. Hasn't reemerged in their Spotify Top 200 since the first day.
Any sign of the extended Mix on Itunes Australia?

Nope!

Seems like it'll be exclusive to her store, at least for the time being.

They kept the 99p ‘Dancing’ EP as a store exclusive too - I’m not sure all the mixes were made available elsewhere?
Be quite a turn up for the books to see them adding her to Hot Hits UK now, when they refused to add 'Dancing' despite her record label/team trying really hard (and I think we all know why...)

In all fairness, UK is a way bigger and more influential market than Oz. Kylie is a very proud aussie and all, but I'd guess even she pays more attention to the UK charts!

I agree - Kylie is immensely proud of being an Australian and the success she has there but she is also fully aware the UK is ‘her’ market and where the money is made and the importance of her releases doing well here.

finally purchased this on itunes, hope it’s top 30 tomorrow !
