That’s still decent for ACR though - could potentially have a reset before Friday too if the uplift has been big enough.

Big increase in PP on Spotify but still a lot less than it was getting a few weeks ago and now also on ACR. Plus dropped a lot on Amazon Music in the last week which has been crucial to the positions it has charted in the last few weeks also.

 

 

Its just great to see it rebounding and either way it should at the least climb this week

Has padam padam any chance of sneaking a top 60 on Friday or are my expectations too high, im happy that it will stay top 75 for another week but obviously the higher the better.

Not totally sure but remaining top 65 is still good if not!

Am I the only one who got surprised that PP went up 18% in sales, yet only rose 3 places? I mean it doesn’t really matter whether it is at 67 or 72 at this point, but still to me it is a bit of a weird chart outcome! Regardless, I’m happy it’s pushing it to Gold a bit faster — hopefully that still happens this year and it still looks like that!

^^ it just shows how tough/competitive all areas of the chart are.

Confirmed by the OCC too. It was the 19th biggest song overall this summer:

 

Earlier this summer, the Official Chart went through something of a Padamic, thanks to Kylie Minogue’s viral hit Padam Padam becoming her first UK Top 10 single in over 10 years. Padam Padam (19) ends the summer as the UK’s most-downloaded track.

BMG and Kylie probably happy to still let Padam Padam have its moment and for the album promo and tightly so.

Padam should have 300k sales in UK before the album is released so I think we have a very good chance of PP going Gold in 2023.
