How many other Kylie songs have gone gold? I think all the lovers managed it.

It's her 10th song as a lead artist, and 11th overall, to be certified Gold. Yes, All The Lovers is one of them.

Love that a 2024 Kylie release has achieved that - in the streaming era I never thought we’d see that in the UK or US.

It was definitely something I'll never forget/never quite believe was actually real!

I see Sophie Ellis Bextor is selling her vinyl of Murder On The Dance floor release at £16...... not just Kylie cashing in on physicals

Adele has liked Kylies Instagram post on Padam going gold.

I hope they have met up in Las Vegas for a drink

Yes sure it has in Australia and Brazil plus maybe Ireland, Netherlands and Belgium.
Has Padam Padam obtained certifications outside of the UK?

Gold in the UK, Australia and Brazil.

I wonder if she'll perform this at the Brits

Oop, just saw the other thread.

Nominated for Dance Song of the Year at the iHeart Music Awards (and Kylie is also nominated for Dance Artist of the Year!).

Dance Song of the Year:

“10:35”- Tiësto ft. Tate McRae

“Baby Don’t Hurt Me” - David Guetta, Anne-Marie and Coi Leray

“Padam Padam” - Kylie Minogue

“Praising You” - Rita Ora ft. Fatboy Slim

“Strangers” - Kenya Grace

Dance Artist of the Year:

Anabel Englund

David Guetta

Illenium

Kylie Minogue

Tiësto

Could Padam Padam possibly sell as much in 2024 as it did in 2023? It might not be far off given 2023 sales where Mid May to end of December and 2024 will be the whole year.

Perhaps half as much, yes, but not close to being the same.

Yep, I was just thinking with more promo, a tour, a new remix for Pride season etc. Could keep selling well.
Even though PP may not have done much for the parent album, I feel it's become one of those classics that will forever be played every Pride, at clubs, etc. In that sense, it'll continue to sell like CGYOOMH

On Spotify Padam will eventually outperform the entire numbers of Disco GLE.

Shame Kylie didn’t have a writing credit. Would love to know the royalty split.

Padam Padam predicted to make the list, which will be revealed on 27th January.

For a certain group of people, it is the most wonderful time of the year — the triple j Hottest 100 countdown.

Voting has closed on Australia's largest musical democracy, and on January 27 it will offer a time capsule of the songs that sum up the year, as voted for by millions of people across Australia (and the world, in fact).

Australia's queen of pop is no stranger to the Hottest 100, but it's been a long time since Kylie Minogue graced the poll with her presence.

She first appeared in 1994 with Confide In Me (number 30), then cracked the top 10 in 1995 by teaming up with Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds for Where The Wild Roses Grow (#8), before making one last appearance in 1997 with Did It Again (#81).

Could her viral sensation single Padam Padam bring her back into the Hottest 100 fold?

If she does make it in, it will be a new record for the biggest gap between appearances.

Masked metallers Slipknot currently hold that record, boasting a 19-year gap between Wait and Bleed (#75) in 2000 and Unsainted (#86) in 2019.

Prior to that, Aussie music royalty The Avalanches and Paul Kelly shared the record, with a 16-year gap.

Should Minogue make the cut, it will be a mammoth 26 years between entries.
