Yes I’m sure the streaming companies particularly Spotify love all that when artists promote their site and playlists with links.

Love that a 2024 Kylie release has achieved that - in the streaming era I never thought we’d see that in the UK or US.

It was definitely something I'll never forget/never quite believe was actually real!

Now time to pay it back and add to ‘Today’s Top Hits’, since it’s firmly above 750k per day now

Billboard Magazine

Regardless, the song has begun to rise in the U.S. as well. It's sold over 1,000 digital copies each of the last five chart weeks (up to the week ending June 23), according to Luminate, and currently sits at a new peak of No. 18 on Billboard's Digital Song Sales listing, moving over 2,400 copies last week.

Streams are also up, with "Padam" gaining from just over 1.4 million official on-demand U.S. streams the week ending May 25 to nearly 2.4 million this past week, a gain of 70%.

June being Pride Month has undoubtedly helped to boost the song's fortunes, with Minogue long serving as a gay icon and her new song being deemed a Pride anthem.

This!

Downloaded the Jax Jones remix, don’t think I’ll choose it over the original to listen to but it is good and should get the song some attention from other areas. I reckon Capital Dance might add it to their playlist.

Don't forget from Friday

And leave it streaming on a low volume every day.

Great to see her bubbling success in the US…probably similar streams in the US and UK, more potential for bigger numbers there too….hence the US promo.
The media keep mentioning ‘Pride Month’ and connecting its success to the month - do they not realise gays do listen to music all year?

My understanding of the US charts isn't great, I wonder what it'll take for it to even reach the Bubbling Under chart? I hope more radio stations get on board with Padam Padam. The US can be slow... songs can hit many months after release... if Kylie plays the long game, maybe it'll get somewhere eventually. Might feel like a pipedream though.

I think at the very least we can say that Padam Padam has caused a buzz in the US, I think even in the gay community she must have won over many new, younger fans?

If nothing else padam padam exposure should help her album sales when it comes out, ideally padam padam would chart aswell considering she is promoting it a lot there.
Just bought the remix too, it's pretty good, I appreciate the turn of the century club vibe although I feel it could have done a bit more and gone full on Eurodance.
Do you like it?

I think its really good, will be used by a lot of DJs i think

I've only just got around to listening to it, ha! I like it a lot. I hope whenever it gets added to streaming it'll be get good playlisting on all the dance / remix themed playlists. Presumably it would appear as a new release on Jax Jones' page too.

It’s on C list again on R1 but I can see them moving it up to B, it’s quite common to go C-C-B

Always open to more radio play but I don't know how much of an impact that will have. If I could make a wish, I'd rather she's 1st song up on HHUK, etc. on Spotify.

Its all going so well..............

I do hope Kylie fans support this first remix, it really can grab some good extra sales both in downloads and streaming at least for a week or two. It really should have a good start to week 7 on the chart if indeed it is released to Spotify. We will know first in NZ and Australia ..........

Jax Jones has 17m Spotify monthly followers and Kylie has 14m

Where is Kylie now?

Padam is slowly making its way up the US radio charts. (t has currently 81 spins on US pop radio and needs 194 spins to enter the top 50, so it should be top 70 on the format about now, and it also has been added by two pop radio stations and one hot adult contemporary (HAC) radio station, and is also top 20 on dance radio and top 200 on overall US radio.

None of these are mind blowing numbers, but the fact that Padam has done all of this without even having an impacts date (so an official US radio release date) in sight is really promising. Kylie's last single to chart in the top 100 of US pop radio was All I See, and that was specifically designed to be a US hit, given multiple major TV performances, officially released to multiple formats, and even remixed with a US rapper who had just come off a number one hit. All that only took it to number 55 on the weekly pop radio chart, so Padam being top 70 without any of that bodes really well for its single release. BMG needs to release it to radio right now, even if it just scratches the top 50 on pop and top 30 on HAC that's a bigger hit than any Kylie single stateside in nearly 20 years.
