I am sure it is a faster beat too...... wonder if they have a sped up version. Maybe I a wrong

The CD single is available to buy still now it’s been released (was half expecting it to show out of stock once the pre-orders were done).

I can't help but thinking it may have been more beneficial to wait an extra week before unleashing the CDs... but that still might help it secure top 15 this week, which is nothing to be sniffed at!

^^ I agree, Week 4 would have been the week I would have chosen - I can’t help but think that maybe they have something else lined up to bolster it past the CD singles? Like their main remix or potentially a vinyl pre-order/release if they panned for one in advance.

 

It does feel early for the CD though when streaming is still building as most record companies use them to boost peak week streaming and move release dates accordingly.

Won’t it take a few months to get vinyls out? I can’t blame them for rushing the single out as this kind of success is unprecedented so you never know when it’s going to dry up

Yes, unless they have planned for them in advance of the release.

If they all ship for the week ahead, streaming even remain steady and continues its itunes dominance top 20 could happen. I also thin its the week to get out at least 1 remix to give it another fighting chance.

If they They are tracking this daily it seems so wouldn't worry, they must know what is too come and have more detailed analysis of streaming etc, playlists, promo etc.

 

Now can someone please to Thursday's Tinea Show at KissFM and tell me if this is a slightly faster mix that is played at 7.20pm, 20 mins into the show

Remember BMG stated during Disco that the best strategy for streaming numbers etc on Spotify is to release every 4-6 weeks as they work on a monthly rolling basis, so probably remix comes next Friday?

 

Imagine if they did a 2000 copy CD run just to test the waters and then they know they can do more later in the campaign?

Incredible! Highest position there since ‘Higher’ reached #2 (or ‘All the Lovers’ reached #1 for solo singles).

I was hoping Thursday’s plays would secure a big airplay rise. Upto 2 is brilliant!!!
