I'd have expected him to be on about double that if I'm honest. You say he's dropped the album without a hit but I'd argue against that - 'Light Switch' may only have peaked at #25 but it feels bigger than that chart position suggests. It's definitely a bit of an underperformance.

^^ Light Switch peaked almost 6 months ago - a decent sized hit but not one that’s going to sell the album in significant numbers half a year later.
I'd have thought Charlie could manage a low top 10 album based on name power alone if nothing else so I'm definitely disappointed he's not even there in the first midweek update. The entire campaign hasn't achieved what it deserves though, it's so good!
'Light Switch' is definitely a bigger hit than a #25 peak would suggest, I mean it even made it to the Heart playlist (although graciously I think they've stopped playing it now).

Yeah, and it’s racked up 350m Spotify streams which is quite impressive.

Maneskin at No.90?

Wow... The buzz about the song led me to think it might make the Top 40, so surprised at that low position.

It had considerably less initial playlist support than 'SUPERMODEL' did to be fair. Seems to have been better received by fans and shown early signs of doing better on TikTok but not really to the extent of it overcoming that handicap (at least not yet).
Very disappointed that The Orielles aren't even in the first set of midweeks when their last album was incredibly well received and charted around #50 :(
The MW update includes sales for every album in the Top 40 which is a welcome error :cheer:

NO OTHER SALES INFO

Surprised Elton/Brit is still at #12. It’s been falling all week and isn’t in the streaming or iTunes Top 20?

Good to see Tom Grennan holding up fairly well, could even still make the top 30 at this rate? Dermot still looking good for top 40 too, Lil Nas X less so.

Charlie actually climbing from his Monday position, wasn't expecting that?

OMG at Darren Hayes though, how the hell has he fallen 21 places from Monday? :o

oh wow Charlie increasing! but sadly Darren Hayes is down to 40 already

Could someone please tell us the albums at #6 and #8? :P

Good to see Omar Apollo debuting in the UK top 40.
