oh wow Charlie increasing! but sadly Darren Hayes is down to 40 already

Id say Darren Hayes sales would have almost all come from pre orders and isnt picking up much since, hopefully he stays top 75

Hopefully Cian Ducrot, Tom Greenan and Dermot can hold their positions or higher on Friday.

Really good update! Tom Grennan safe to hold top 40 for sure now! (Maybe even top 30?) As much as I love Afraid to feel, please let messy in heaven pip it to #20. Mimi looks safe for top 30, and dermot Kennedy - Kiss Me (another great song) should hold on now too :cheer:
Is Mimi doing really well on Amazon or YouTube or something? Really confused as to how she is that high otherwise. She has been gradually moving up Apple Music since release and is now in the high 20s there, but still hasn't even come close to the top 50 on Spotify. Don't think she exactly sold bucketloads on iTunes either?

She's #22 on Apple, #41 on Amazon, #87 on Spotify (but #73 yesterday)

#29 on itunes but was higher earlier in the week

so overall think it kinda makes sense, especially if you apply acr to the song above her

Charlie has gained nicely from doing the 2 Banquet shows - also I didn’t realise they only released 1 vinyl and CD for him so he’s lost out on any potential multi-buying,
I wish Tom Odell would f*** off to ACR but it’s nice to see Mimi remaining stable in the top 25. Hope she can climb higher

I wish onerepublic Chris brown do same

At least the former wasn’t reset to SCR because of TikTok. I agree on the latter though. Last I checked, it’s 2022, not 2012 or 2019

And the vinyl isn't available until 25th November! I feel like his label could have helped him a bit more by issuing some alternative artwork CDs. It feels almost unheard of these days for a pop album to only have one physical format in release week.

Mimi Webb at #23 is baffling. But then again I didn't think Lil Nas X was doing nearly enough to still be scraping top 40 and i'm pleasantly surprised by that.

Charlie Puth to suddenly discover a load of singed CDs down the back of the sofa to try and avoid an flop?

Im actually surprised Tom Odell is always stuck in the low top 20 and not higher, he seems to be doing enough to be just outside the top 10

love how the song seems to be more popular than ever, not usual after first become a viral tiktok hit 2 years ago

but he's not even cracking the US and he's been as high as #3 on Youtube, which don't think happened to the song before

Under The Influence was released on 4 October 2019, so passed the 3-year threshold last week. Can only assume there was some label request to keep it on SCR which Mary On A Cross didn't have when it reached 3 years old last month.
Was ‘Another Love’ a US hit as well?

Never... but this week for the first time it's Bubbling Under just below the 100 position

Although the top of the chart is quiet, there should be loads of new tracks to enjoy (or not as the case may be) on Friday's countdown.

Always thought it was a worldwide hit but nice to see it giving it a boost over there too, too good a song not to be known world wide!

If ever in the whole of history I'd have wished something to happen the opposite way round from what it actually did... 🤦‍♂️

no, actually, Mary On A Cross stayed on SCR for 3 weeks after it passed the '3 year mark' of its release, but due to declining for 3 weeks it went onto acr. i presume the same will happen to chris brown, as soon as he declines for 3 consecutive weeks he'll be straight to acr. there was no label involvement for either song as both charted BEFORE the 3 year mark so there was no need to reset them as they were never on acr

STAR WALKIN’ - across the universe, on the Starship Enterprise under Captain Kirk…

I haven’t heard it yet but I really hope that’s what it goes it like….
