Shall get started with the listening session at 8pm tomorrow (things should wrap up by 10pm) but will play an hour of chill out heaven beforehand (think Massive Attack, Portishead, The Orb, Zero 7, Lamb, Moby etc...) - well, I'll get my previous techno stomper winner out the way first and then launch into all the chill out :D

Voted. The first edition definitely had the bigger highlights but there were a couple of gems here too. My eventual 12-pointer completely passed me by on first listen, then jumped up to mid-table points the second time round to now comfortably being my fave - epic grower!

Sent my own votes in now as round voter #10 *.* thanks to all the early voters as it's allowing me to get pretty ahead on prep, yay! Still a whole week to go. ^_^

Hoping to have some votes together by the end of the weekend; I've been really enjoying having this soundtrack my few days in the Scottish Borders, a few strong favourites have emerged but I'm gonna give them a few more listens before I make my final decision. One in particular sounds like a chilled version of BT's “Flaming June”* which I realised I had already bought several years ago after discovering via Netflix. *.*

 

*Yeah I think that I meant Chicane's “Offshore”, but I seem to always get those two mixed up ! Balearic bliss and the dawn of commercial Trance in the Top 40.
