October 26, 20222 yr 142 David Bowie - Heroes Back to back Bowie!! <3 141 AC/DC - You Shook Me All Night Long Edited October 26, 20222 yr by The Robageist
October 26, 20222 yr Funny how enduring Freed From Desire turned out to be. I'm not sure I'd have called that happening when it came out, but then it's been helped out by becoming an unexpected football anthem. Glad Set You Free made it in!
October 26, 20222 yr I'm just posting off my phone so probably should be due a 161-141 recap. 140 Ginuwine - Pony (skipped) 139 The La's - There She Goes Again 138 Darude - Sandstorm (skipped lmao) 137 Eric Carmen - Hungry Eyes 136 Michael Jackson - Thriller (expected this to be a bit higher tbh) 135 Bob Marley & The Wailers - Could You Be Loved 134 The Beatles - Let It Be 133 Blondie - Heart of Glass Edited October 26, 20222 yr by The Robageist
October 26, 20222 yr Shame they didn't play Sandstorm, surprised it counts as it debuted in the UK in 2000 but I guess it was released elsewhere before. I thought Let It Be would appear at some point as the only Beatles song. (132 Whitney Houston - I Have Nothing)
October 26, 20222 yr 131 Steelers Wheel - Stuck In The Middle With You 130 Bon Jovi - You Give Love A Bad Name Fab duo here <3
October 26, 20222 yr 129 Bob Marley & The Wailers - Is This love 128 The Cure - Friday, I'm In Love 127 Dr Bre Ft Snoop Dogg - The Next Episode Edited October 26, 20222 yr by The Robageist
October 26, 20222 yr 126 Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart  125 Guns 'N' Roses - Welcome To The Jungle 124 Cyndi Lauper - Time After Time 123 Oasis - Half The World Away Guess they're going some way into the top 120 today and planning not as many skips from now on!
October 26, 20222 yr Glad that the sensational 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' has featured here  shame it stalled outside the top 10 officially on three separate occasions!
October 26, 20222 yr 122 Billy Joel - We Didn't Start The Fire 121 Prince - Purple Rain 120 Lionel Richie - All Night Long (All Night) 119 Fleetwood Mac - Little Lies 118 Stevie Wonder - Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours 117 Robbie Williams - Angels 116 Elton John & Kiki Dee - Don't Go Breaking My Heart 115 Cher - Believe Edited October 26, 20222 yr by jimwatts
October 26, 20222 yr I missed GNR and Cyndi which are both fantastic tracks. Oh and 'Little Lies' too but I hear that a lot anyway. 'Believe' an epic final song today  Edited October 26, 20222 yr by The Robageist
October 26, 20222 yr I’ll do a full update for the day in due course - thanks Jim, Rob and Dan for holding the fort! Edited October 26, 20222 yr by Ghoul Jules
October 26, 20222 yr So was it Elton and Kiki 116 and Cher 115? I’ll do a full update for the day in due course - thanks Rob and Jim for holding the fort! It was yeah.
October 26, 20222 yr Thriller being that low as well as Three Lions does make me wonder if there's some filtering out of streams centred on specific occasions / times of year.
October 26, 20222 yr Thriller being that low as well as Three Lions does make me wonder if there's some filtering out of streams centred on specific occasions / times of year. This makes me wonder if Christmas songs will be excluded here which I would find pretty unfair to be hoest.
October 26, 20222 yr 127 Dr Bre Ft Snoop Dogg - The Next Episode *.* It's the motherf*ckin' B-R-É -------- A few Oasis non-singles here, so the top 100 must be littered with their stuff. Didn't expect that Bon Jovi song to be so high up. I always think Ava Max's Kings and Queens has the same melody.
October 26, 20222 yr I think they’re definitely excluding Xmas songs - how much of the Three Lions boosts in recent tournaments have just come from tournaments though? A couple of weeks every couple of years of high peaks of streams would be about right for that position - can’t imagine it’s streaming in great numbers outside World Cups and Euros.

October 27, 20222 yr Dr. Bré :cheeseblock: I might have to steal that as a username after spoopy szn xx 'The Next Episode' is one of my highlights from today's batch! Big love as well to 'Smooth Criminal', 'Enter Sandman' (boo hiss at that being skipped), 'Children' (surprised that is so high!), 'Starman' (my fave from Bowie ), 'Heart Of Glass' and 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' (and plenty more but I don't want to just reiterate half the list :kink:) What is that song at #138? Memeing aside I genuinely don't think I have ever heard of that song at #171. Maybe it's one of those songs that I'd recognise if I heard it but couldn't put a name to? I understand them not including Christmas songs in this but they should really be transparent about it!

Maybe it's one of those songs that I'd recognise if I heard it but couldn't put a name to? Sandstorm is a Summer 2000 dance smash which seems to have had its first release in late 1999, hence being included. Yeah the Rusted Root song might be the biggest WTF moment so far. Have had a listen and it’s only very vaguely familiar. Wiki says: “While the song was not an immediate commercial success, it has since become an "iconic track of the 1990s", mainly due its prominence in several movies and TV series, including the 1996 film Matilda, the television show Party of Five, the 2002 film Ice Age, and the 2021 television miniseries Maid.” Edited October 27, 20222 yr by Ghoul Jules
