Not a huge fave of my own but at the time dannii was at her peak. Who do you love now got me into dannii, put the needle on it kinda dampened things for me and I begin to wonder changed it around again.

WTF!!!! I still remember the old DanniiMusic forums back in those days... and Rental Richard thinking it was too smutty and might as well have been called "Put the Dick On It". it does not feel like 20 years! A bit bizarre to think that the same time distance in 2002 would be 1982... I finally understand how people feel when they're getting old.

Ah the Dannii forum - such a great place but also full of hysteria and arguments

One of my faves from Dannii, the production is so slick and funky and Dannii's sultry breathy vocal suits the song really well. Along with the music video and the brilliant TOTP performance, the whole single release just has a very cool vibe about it.

Not my favourite of hers but quite a credible track compared to a lot of the early stuff.
This and I Begin To Wonder were the first songs I ever heard by Dannii, I was surprised to discover she started her career way earlier than this.
Not my favourite of Danniis but it got audiences interested in her but it's a better track than a large percentage of her early work.

It's great, a nice slick sexy electro-pop number. Perfectly set the tone for the album I think.

Admittedly 'I Begin to Wonder' was where I properly started to sit up and take notice of her.

It was an all time high when PTNOI was sitting in and out of the top 3.........and dropped to 7#. Ugh!

Great song !!!!!!!!!!!!

#7 was great for Dannii but slightly disappointing when it had been at 3. I'm not a huge fan of the song myself but if it hadn't been the lead single it may have charted even lower. I Begin to wonder would have been the better lead single but the way it went worked out well in the end.

It was a very competitive week and there was no bside for fans to buy both CD1 and CD2 !

Some brilliant remixes though!

I think they got the strategy near perfect, 'Put the Needle On It' did fine and 'I Begin to Wonder' was the best song to release the album off the back of - which may not have done as well if they tried to release it after just one single.

Who do you love now really laid down the ground work to get Dannii up and going again and i loved that so put the needle on it kinda killed a bit of the Dannii buzz for me but I begin to wonder got it all back on track for me again

One of the only times in Dannii’s career a record company got it right… and then they went bust :drama:

Overall it was handled well and prob the best any label handled Dannii, huge shame the label went bust as another album with them could have also succeeded.

Would have loved to see what would have been next - I’m sure she could have had a successful 2nd era off the back of a Top 10 gold selling album and Top 10 singles, AATW tried but we’re probably the worst label she could have signed with for career development.

Ya easily could have followed it up with another fairly successful album.dannii must be one of the most unlucky artists signing with the wrong labels.
