It is fast coming the time of year where Kylie returns to the singles chart with Santa Baby.

What do you think it can achieve this time around?

If it is part of prominent playlists it will make the Top 40.

If not, it could miss the Top 50.

Forgot what it peaked at last year but reckon top 30.

It’s so hard to predict as it really depends where it’s placed on playlists - it’s chart peak each year is all over the place

Thanks for posting these, it's so hard to predict as the peak is so varied.

Thanks for some reason I remember it charting higher last year but maybe I’m confusing it’s Spotify position.

It’s already adding over 100k a day on Spotify….not sure how that compares to previous years but it’s certainly still on playlists. Small pickup for the rest of the tracks so far.

I went for an optimistic Top 50 before seeing previous year peaks.
With this year's sales it will easily pass 700k and should make 750k at the least by the time it leaves the chart.

its already taken Kylie from 7.2m Spotify montly listeners to 8.2m in just over a week

Its definitely one of her songs that always boost her streaming numbers, and does highlight the importance of play lists which generally lacks with new Kylie material.
Give us a CD single and 7’ vinyl to go along with the re-issued KC vinyl and we’ll make this a Top 20 hit
I would be all for that and i think Santa Baby deserves it, its never had its own actual single release so this would be nice for it especially now that its one of her biggest selling singles.

Not sure what the streaming numbers were at this time last year but it was 25th on the main Christmas Hits playlist (which has 4.8m followers) last year and now it’s already 16th. Also 2nd on Kylie’s most popular list on her main Spotify page.

I’m going to be optimistic and say Top 40!

'Santa Baby' was on 680k chart sales as of w/e 6th January 2022. It achieved 124k chart sales in 2021, so its total could hit 800k this year! That would mean it would overtake 'I Should Be So Lucky' and be third on Kylie's biggest songs list.
