November 26, 20222 yr I think the Ekkstacy and Tides From Nebula songs are the only ones I recognise other than my own! Looking forward to the Slowdive entry as I'm a big fan of 'When The Sun Hits' and 'Alison' by them.
November 26, 20222 yr That's a nice big number we got in the end. Plus it looks like a great lineup with several band names I vaguely recognise and I'd be interested in hearing what they have to offer.

November 26, 20222 yr Wow! Looks like the Shoegaze revival starts here then. Quite a few I'm very familiar with there this time and one is one of my favourite singles of this year too.
November 26, 20222 yr I think this might be the most songs I've ever already known from a Nuggets - there are 5 that I've already heard and 3 of those I already know I'm a big fan of so that's a third of my votes sorted already unless the quality of the rest is really through the roof! Cool to see EKKSTACY appearing in a contest, I feel like he must be primed for a TikTok hit any one of these days (and 'i just want to hide my face' is one of my faves from his album so a good choice). The Tides From Nebula and zzzahara/Mareux songs are great too, both from artists I discovered via BJSC entries (TFN from Rollo and Mareux from Ansel). There is an artist here who is also in the upcoming BJSC! #spoilers
November 26, 20222 yr Ooh I hadn't noticed Mareux was here, definitely interested to hear that one! The only other artist I recognise is La rappresentante di lista, loved their Sanremo song this year so hopefully I'll enjoy this one just as much.

November 27, 20222 yr I've had a flick through and Diva definitely stands out as a bit of an anomaly... will be interesting to see whether that works in its favour. I've remembered why I usually sit this one out, I find it a bit too much in one sitting. Will definitely need to break up the listen throughs.

December 8, 20222 yr Author With my plans for the England game at the weekend I won't have much time to do anything with this on Sunday, so have moved the deadline back 24 hours and will present the results on Monday evening.

December 10, 20222 yr A little last minute but I'm happy to do a listenthrough tomorrow (Saturday) at 8pm - sorry I've kind of kept forgetting this is ongoing, my song contest energy has been entirely used up elsewhere on the site :ph34r: (aware that'll be clashing with the second half of England vs. France but yanno we might be way behind by that point anyway x)
