Oh god, that was an epic typo !! It was meant to say: ngl, I bought the Cliff album for my mum!

Hope that makes you feel less old! Lol

That's much better

According to The Sun newspaper Cliff is closing the gap on Stormzy. They say Cliff sold 3,200 copies yesterday and Stormzy sold 1,700.

So that's around 16,600 to 14,300.

Album now £4.99 on iTunes compared with Stormzy at £10.99. And £6.99 in HMV (was £10.99).

His record company must think there is a chance of going to number one.

Cliff remains no. 1 on Amazon best sellers whereas Stormzy is at no. 69.

I think it will end up Cliff being #1 on sales with Stormzy being #1 officially

Yeah I think Cliff is going to pull it off now. Stormzy perpetually losing #1 albums to fossils with their big Q4 releases  (and unlike 'Heavy Is The Head' I really don't see this album getting a chance to rise to #1 later).
Mad thinking we will have a Christian #1-#2. That can't have happened too often recently!
I support Cliff Richard :no1:! I have many fond memories eating family Christmas dinner listening to Mistletoe and Wine in the background. That was until my mum decided she didn't like his album anymore and put on other music instead (excuse me??)

Cliff no. 1 on iTunes albums, Stormzy no. 2.

Also, Cliff at Christmas album no. 181.

On Amazon, Best Sellers Rank:

1 in CDs & Vinyl

1 in Pop

1 in Rock

1 in Christmas Music

Wonder if Stormzy or his record company will wake up? I'd be abit embarrassed losing out to Cliff if I were in his shoes.

They have - tickets to intimate shows (combined with an album) went on sale today.

HMV are promoting Cliff Richard's album all over their socials at £6.99 and he has his own bumper magazine. What a king.

Stormzy's live shows are on 22/12/2022 rather than this week?! They sold out in seconds.

The only HMV signing I have seen is for this week is today in Birmingham.

It doesn’t matter when the shows are, the sales will count for this week.
