January 7, 20232 yr The trouble with Lulu is she's really distinctive, singing a good song would have probably given her away very easily. I thought it was pretty obviously her regardless so I'm amazed that none of the panel guessed her
January 7, 20232 yr 1st episode watched and 1st correct guess! I missed last week and watched clips on yt but i watched today! Idk how they didn't guess lulu, her voice is so distinctive!
January 7, 20232 yr Rhino I think is Charlie Simpson. Though I always think James Arthur and Charlie sound quite similar on certain songs so it could be James but I think it’s likely to be Charlie.
January 7, 20232 yr Ruthie Henshall was my guess for Fawn but I’d absolutely be here for it to be Delta as some of the clues did fit. Rhino and Fawn I think are the two best singers this year. Rhino being Charlie Simpson! Some of my other guesses tonight were Matt Lucas - Jacket Potato costume Amanda Holden - Pigeon (although Emily Atack was a good guess!) I did get Lulu for the piece of cake mainly by the “shhhh” being the opposite of Shout. Wasn’t too fussed to see her exit though because she was a pretty early guess for me so the mystery left pretty early on. The Wheelie Bin is my biggest stump though. Didn’t really have anyone coming to mind from clues or vocals. At first the bin colours were giving JLS but the vocals absolutely did not give professional singer. Edited January 7, 20232 yr by JLJ
January 8, 20232 yr Yes i got Lulu right by the voice and got the "Shhhh" clue. Surprised the judges didn't click who she was and surprised she was out first. As soon as Pigeon spoke in her VT i thought Gemma Collins but it's probably someone putting on her voice misleading us, could be Emily Atack i suppose good guess by the judges.
January 8, 20232 yr I think Pigeon may be my favourite contestant. A friend of mine suggested Catherine Tate and I could see that potentially being true.
January 8, 20232 yr Rhino is definitely Charlie Simpson. I thought Catherine Tate for Pigeon. I’m not getting Deltas voice from Fawn. Sounds like a much older singer.
January 8, 20232 yr Watching it now Gonna update as I go along Jacket Potato - I’ve written down Will Mellor Fawn - Jade Ewen Rubbish - Mark Owen Pigeon - Gemma Collins or Aisling Bea Piece of Cake - Alesha Dixon Rhino - James Arthur or Charlie Simpson Edited January 8, 20232 yr by Herbs
January 8, 20232 yr My guesses at the moment - Knitting - Claire Richards Jellyfish - Amber Riley Otter - Kate Bush Ghost - Chris Kamara Cat & Mouse - Tom & Giovanna Fletcher Phoenix - Michael Sheen Jacket Potato - Matt Lucas Fawn - Amanda Holden Rubbish - Bez (Happy Mondays) Pigeon - Linda Robson Piece of Cake - Lulu Rhino - Charlie Simpson
January 8, 20232 yr Having just watched last night's episode again, the penny has just dropped and I am convinced that Fawn is Natalie Appleton. If you go on YouTube and listen to any of the Appleton album or All Saints songs where she had partial lead vocals it's definitely her! Rhino is definitely Charlie Simpson.
January 9, 20232 yr My predictions... Ghost - Chris Kamara Piece of Cake - Lulu Knitting - Claire Richards Cat & Mouse - Jack & Kelly Osbourne Jellyfish - Amber Riley Otter - Julie Walters Phoenix - John Barrowman Fawn - Dannii Minogue Rubbish - Mark Owen Jacket Potato - Vic Reeves Pigeon - Paloma Faith Rhino - Charlie Simpson Cannot wait for these reveals.
January 9, 20232 yr I would DIE if it’s Kate Bush! I know it’s VERY unlikely, but I cannot I hear her voice from that performance
January 9, 20232 yr Bloody Lulu keeps popping up everywhere, even the Masked Singer isn't safe from being darkened with her presence. <_<
January 11, 20232 yr The three I am absolutely certain of is Phoenix - Ricky Wilson Rhino - Charlie Simpson Knitting - Claire Richards
January 13, 20232 yr Listeners to Mark Kermode & Simon Mayo's film podcast might have been given a clue to the identity of Phoenix - A listener pointed out that a lot of the clues seem to point to it being Harry Potter (among other things) actor Jason Isaacs, the clue about being a catchphrase being a reference to "Hello To Jason Isaacs" being a running joke.
