January 1, 20233 yr He said it’s #2 on the OCC at the moment. Hopefully that means good sales to get closer to Silver 🙂 Based on this (from Sam Ryder thread), there is an OCC update at least.

January 1, 20233 yr Damn the chart update not being on takes away from having to watch that Masked Singer nonsense!
January 1, 20233 yr i've decided to give the big top 40's end of year chart a listen cos why not... peru is their #17 in the eoy  i've been keeping note, might make a post of it so we can discuss their eoy compared to the official one (if thats ok to do). i still find it funny when they call themselves the 'only official chart show' :P Do they really claim to be official? I haven't listened to it in like 10 years but I used to listen to it a lot and they never claimed that even though people accused them of doing so. They did make other "outrageous" claims, but those were technically true. For example they claimed to be the "most listened to/popular chart show", but that is objectively true as it is broadcast on over 100 radio stations including Capital and Heart in every region which obviously combined far surpass Radio 1's audience. Their other claim is that they're the most up-to-date chart. Which back then you could argue because their top 10 was just the current top 10 on iTunes as of 6pm on Sunday. So for example a big release that week would debut at #1 on their chart 18 hours after release whilst it would debut at #1 7 days later on the official chart. But I never heard them claiming to be THE official chart. At worst they might claim to be the "official Apple Music chart" or the "official Big Top 40 Show". The OCC would be claiming to Ofcom for sure if they ever claimed to be broadcasting their chart.
