Aw really happy for Gabrielle! I know sales will be low etc etc but it's still good going for her and for me it's probably her best album to date.

Also FFS, just as SZA manages to overtake Messy In Heaven that Meghan Trainor shit is somehow ahead of her again.

No sign of a climb for Bloody Mary or Creepin and Golden Hour only up very slightly.

Pitiful update.

hopefully all those reset can go back to acr asap (megan, venbee, oliver etc im looking at you)
Unfortunately, Lewis won’t get #1 as streaming is against him. He’s gonna need big sales if he wants to score his fourth #1

Usually overall streams go up this week after the new year lull so could well be 4 weeks before they go d’oh.

- Lewis Capaldi's album of sadboy ballads becomes the top seller of the year, he also reaches #1 with Pointless after selling 30,000 signed CDs (the OCC will not think to question or investigate this)

are the CDs just being released this week then? obviously he'll go to #1 whenever those come out (assuming the label can make up as many sales as he needs to get there)

a reminder for those who didn't heed the warnings...

Fixed it for you :P

Lewis will still need to sell some more to hold on but he might well be able to do it. It just feels a bit artificial when the song isn’t really all that popular but I suppose it’s no different to the fanbase driven 1-7 type runs we used to get between 1995 and 2015.
I would be mad if Raye hadn't got #1 or he was close to declining someone like idk SZA but he's not, so whatever. It's a Medicare song and sorry to his fans but it really reminds me of Westlife/McFly style tactics to get #1 at their prime :')

I reckon it'll be 15-01-09 or something - but yeah we used to get worse with McFly/Westlife and I'm sure some other fanbase acts back in the day too. It's just not something we're used to now.

It'll be interesting if Miley could somehow get #1 the following week, I'd low key love it as I miss the quick turnover of #1's but I doubt it. I do think Miley will be big though, its just a question of how big.
