Apart from a few questionable lyrics as ever - the Central Cee song is one of his best imo.

You mean this one doesn't include some dog shit interpolation?

Nice to see Linkin Park so high up, would be great if that can go top 40 (I imagine it'll be pretty frontloaded but if My Chemical Romance and blink-182 could get top 40 hits then I imagine this has a shot too). And great numbers for Paramore across the board! Nice to see 'The News' and 'C'Est Comme Ça' both re-entering at new peaks.

Also cool to see 'OMG' now debuting for NewJeans too, it's become a bigger hit than 'Ditto' in the US now so interested to see if it ends up doing the same here. I do prefer 'Ditto' but this is a good song too.

KING of the cowboys Luke Combs, he’s never done anything wrong anyway.

Releasing 'The Kind Of Love We Make' was a pretty big crime tho x

Apple:

7 Boy’s a Liar

16 Tom Brennan - Here

31 Freya Ridings - Weekends

38 Central Cee - Me & You

62 P!nk - TRUSTFALL

94 Mae Stephens - If We Ever Broke Up

100 Jax Jones - Whistle

121 Luke Combs - Love You Anyway

129 Zara

136 NEW Lovejoy - Call me what you Like

Linking Park not top 200 and Paramore with just 2 tracks now, both high huge +50 drops

Argh at the drops for Trustfall over the last few days. I guess it shows that there is always a reason for something climbing inexplicably. If it’s not TikTok, media exposure, airplay etc then we can now add this autoplay factor to the list :( it’s annoying as I was excited to see her in line for a big hit with such a good song.
Genuinely asking: Was the label the only one that could buy these "autoplays", or could fans buy them as well?

Spotify:

1) Flowers 609K

2) Kill Bill

3) Boy's A Liar Pt. 2 540K #2 Combined

4) Escapism 539K #3 combined

78) Sure Thing Sped Up

83) If We Ever Broke Up

94) Rush

96) Ready To Fly!!!

100) In Ha Mood

199) OMG

Surprising Linkin Park dropped so little, while Lovejoy and Central Cee had bigger drops. Also weird Linking Park are not even top 200 on Apple.

Trustfall keeps falling and it's even lower now than Dance again :/ So disappointing, thought some of the climbing was genuine mixed with the autopayola

but now even with good playlist it cannot re-climb.

I really don’t think Hot Hits has the impact it once had.

Yeah same, I can't think of many that have had an impact from it - 10:35 is probably the most recent example and I guess Psycho and Messy In Heaven.

I think it's different now, TikTok is the want deciding what's a hti and what's not

but HH helps the non-Tik Tok hits

so if a song is a tiktok hit, doesn't need HH

but if not a tiktok hit, you really need the HH support

Pink wouldn't have been top 40 with Dance Again if she hadn't been added to HH, just a recent example

TikTok hits do sometimes need HHUK too though, lots of them stay forever in the #100-200 region on Spotify otherwise.

For example, Lizzy McAlpine’s ‘ceilings’ only started to chart higher/reach the top 40 once added to that playlist.

It’s so annoying how a song pretty much universally well received like Trustfall can’t become a big hit without some sort of payola. It just feels like the charts are broken.

Isn’t it just the usual weekend drops for new releases kind of falls for TRUSTFALL? I should imagine she’ll start climbing again in tomorrow or Tuesdays update tbh.

We’ll see though. I’m actually v hopeful it’s still gonna be a big hit.

I am too, if I’m honest I have no idea how these streaming charts work, I’m just going off people’s posts.
