My list would be a little different if I was to do it now I’ve seen this thread though :lol: Wonder who the highest placing acts from each country will be. I’d be shocked to see anyone British trouble the top 5.

April 23, 20232 yr Joni Mitchell is brilliant (and also was my mum’s doppelgänger back in the day). Don’t know why I didn’t vote for her TBH.
April 23, 20232 yr I'm pleasantly a little surprised all my votes bar one are still here.Must have jinxed it with two eliminations on the next reveal :drama: My 3 favourite Joni Mitchell songs are River, Both Sides Now and Songs To Aging Children Come. For Gloria Estefan they are Dr Beat, Oye Mi Canto and Rhythm Is Gonna Get You (some of those were with Miami Sound Machine but that was all Gloria really).
April 23, 20232 yr Surprising that a megastar like Gloria Estefan never had a top 5 hit although several of her songs came mighty close. Also that three of her biggest UK hits ('Anything for You', 'Can't stay away from you' and 'Don't wanna lose you') were MOR ballads all ending with 'You' and extremely similar reflective lyrics about relationships which aren't going well where although she doesn't want it to end she will accept it if that is his wish. :( Edited April 23, 20232 yr by Smint
