Oh wow, me and Jim had a snap 30 pointer yesterday and 26 today *.* what a talent Amy was, I think 'You Know I'm No Good' will always be my top song from her.

Céline being a bit more popular on BuzzJack than with Rolling Stone :basil:

Amy and Lana would both have ranked very highly for me too <3

Amy climbing is a surprise but a lovely one. What a talent. Just within the short career she had she really paved the way for females in music in general and her music sounds so classic and timeless. It’s crazy to think we only had two full length albums from her. Back to Black is probably my favourite single from Amy but I think Frank is also an absolute gem of an album often overlooked by the insane success of the Back to Black album which is one of the biggest selling ever here in the UK (I also think it’s the female studio album (as in non greatest hits album) with the most weeks in the top 100 isn’t it.

Celine is my favourite vocal female from the trinity of her, Mariah and Whitney. Celines towards the top of my list of someone I’d love to see live too hoping at some point that can happen. She’s always seemed like such an down to earth person in interviews and promo appearances but her vocal is undeniable. One of the very best for me.

Amy - most overrated singer in the history of music.

OK I know music is subjective but Amy being called the most over-rated singer in the history of music is frankly quite baffling

The 'Back To Black' album as a whole is not for me but I do love the singles from it. Such a shame I never got to see her live - we did have tickets but the show was cancelled at the very last minute due to her being too drunk to perform by all accounts.

She was the final act on my shortlist of 33 that I cut. I did feel a bit like Rolling Stone not including her in the end!

Celine! What an absolute vocal powerhouse. Such a great singles discography too!

Amy is very much a one album wonder to me. Didn’t really like anything else other than Back to Black. But even that album I couldn’t care if I ever heard it again :(

While I appreciate Amy Winehouse, I do think she is a bit overrated. I do think Back to black is a solid album, but the whole hype putting her on the same level as David Bowie, Madonna, Elton etc is a bit much for me.

Still surprised I didn't give her any points though! Loving is a losing game is my ultimate favourite song of hers.

I’ve never seen the comparisons myself. Perhaps that’s because I live outside the UK, I don’t know.

As much as I do love her I kind of agree. I can take or leave Frank bar the 4 singles, they were great. For me though Back to Black is one of my favourite albums.

Later on today we'll have the first lady to fall out of 2019's top 10 placing.
Didn’t even realise i’d voted in this ! Nice to see Celine and Amy top 20!

I suspect it'll be my 29 pointer! But I didn't expect her to get top 10 last time tbh and this placing would be about where I would have predicted then and I think is where she would get now, so it's kind of in-line!

Celine should be higher !!

Amy is also wonderful

Oh she is revered as one of the 'greats' over here. To give her credit, she could possibly have been, she didn't live long enough to showcase it or not. I am with you though Frank I can take or leave, it's just ok, Back to Black is a solid album, but Lioness isn't (although she has very minimal input into that it seems as most was done after she died). She is very much in the, had one strong album category for me.

Having said all that, I will restate I do really like Back to Black I am surprised I forgot about her in my rating.
