Christina , Janet and Cher !!!

What a trio and three of my faves !!

Glad to see Avril stable! Love Sux was a really good album.

Happy to see Janet so high. I've gotten into quite a bit of her music the last couple years. :music:

Avril was such a big childhood favourite of mine! Let Go was the first studio album I ever bought and I still think those first few albums hold up well.

I've really got into Janet over the past few years. I especially love her Rhythm Nation 1814 album

Glad I just about had room for Shakira! I've always enjoyed her noughties eras but also delved into Donde Estan Los Ladrones a couple of years ago and really liked that.

Charli isn't the most consistent for me but I do appreciate some of her work, 'Vroom Vroom' is my favourite song by her and How I'm Feeling Now the most up my street album.

Incidentally the three climbers into the top 20 are (in alphabetical order) Dua, Lana and Miley.

Happy with Christina’s position here! I genuinely thought she’d have dropped out around the 31-50 mark so I’m glad she’s still doing well

Stripped is still my all time favourite album and Back to Basics, Bionic and her debut album are all very close to my heart. AGUILERA her most recent Spanish album is also fantastic. She’ll always be a real favourite of mine

Happy to her joint highest ranker too!

What a trio there with Xtina, Janet and Cher, shame they all missed out on the top 20. By my reckoning I have 13 entries left, not bad going.

BIGGEST HIT: DON’T CALL ME ANGEL (#2, 2019)

A crime that Lana's highest peaking hit is Don't Call Me Angel! Video Games and Summertime Sadness are/were so huge.

Miley :cheeseblock: What a moment Flowers has been :cheeseblock:

Lana  it was tough to choose my absolute favourite but she has 9 studio albums now and I'd happily put on any of them. Some are less good than others but for me she doesn't have a bad album, so that amount of quality, plus adoring her voice put her right at the top of my list. The 1-2 punch of 'Video Games' and 'Born To Die' got me into her and she's still releasing career highs like 'A&W' all these albums in and continues to push herself as a song-writer. I really hope I get the chance to see her live, I had tickets for 2020 but she cancelled due to illness, it was just before Covid 💔

...speaking of concerts, Miley's Wonder World tour is one of the very first I went to back in 2009! As a kid I loved her when she was Hannah Montana and as an adult I have really come to appreciate some of her more recent efforts too, like the Plastic Hearts era and 'Nothing Breaks Like A Heart' <3

Yes, Lana's discography is consistently good or better. 'Video Games' and 'Summertime Sadness' (the non-remixed versions) are my two huge favourites from her debut, then for a third track I could add almost anything (though would probably choose 'The Greatest') from NFR! which as I've said elsewhere is my favourite album of the last decade. I admire how prolific she has been since then too, and hope her current chart hit can be the springboard to a new audience.

I considered Miley and I like 'Malibu' and 'Prisoner' more than the top singles of a few artists I did vote for though I'm less keen on her earlier songs, nevertheless it's good to see her also rise to the top 20.

Lana and Miley are two of my absolute favourites

Both still feel underrated to an extent but both are still evolving and carving out new music whats unlike what they’ve done before over a decade into their careers so that’s a win for me!

Miley I’d say is super consistent for me as a singles artist (although Miley is more of a singles artist and Lana an albums artist) but Lana has higher highs albums wise and has some masterpieces of albums.

They’ve also both released two of my favourite albums of 2023 so far respectively

Like Jade, I’d also love to see Lana live at some point and I’d love to see Miley again as well I attended the Bangerz tour

Nice climbs for Lana and Miley getting them top 20 places, i do like occasional songs from both but im not a fan in the way i would go out and buy their albums.

Miley's obviously given us some bops in her time and deserves her place in the top 20!

Don't know how to feel about Lana really, there are some songs of hers I really like ('Say Yes To Heaven' being one of them) but I've never been properly invested in her and the only album of hers I can sit through is 'Born To Die'.

Lana is an artist who although I'm a massive fan of the moody arty genre she encapsulates and loved some of her singles 'West Coast' and 'Video Games' are amazing, never really warmed to her as a person. Something about her image put me off and sometimes she can be a bit funny with her views - that said probably not good to judge her on things like that too much. It's actually Buzzjack that has made me think she has to be great as she gets so many rave reviews. I did start listening to both 'UltraViolet' and 'Norman f***ing Rockwell!' and they sound great - should try more of them.
Well done Lana and Miley, I rate Miley higher than Lana but I'll be honest I haven't really heard much of Lana, I should invest some time into her.
Glad Lana did well. My faves from her are Mariner's Apartment Complex, West Coast, Ride, Old Money and Venice Bitch
