March 22, 20232 yr Just put this on, St Etienne followed by Ultravox is a good start. Thanks for the heads up. :)
March 22, 20232 yr Useful nugget of info that there were 15,275 Too 40 hits pre 2000 - anyone have a figure up to now or a recent date?
March 22, 20232 yr Thanks for the heads up, putting this on as some work background music for a bit and got Haddaway - 'What Is Love?' - great start :music:
March 22, 20232 yr annoyingly they don't seem to have a history of what has been played recently, that would've been nice to see but yay for What Is Love getting a play just then haven't heard of this Canned Heat song before that's now playing but sounds rather great ('On The Road Again') would be great if there was a 21st century version of this too
March 22, 20232 yr Interesting. "Awaits" 'Frozen' being followed by Joe Dolce or somebody lol. Not heard this Tina Turner song before but sounds good.
March 22, 20232 yr hadn't heard that Billy Joel song before but that sounded rather good though unsurprising that it's not one of his 'classics' phew at the original Groovy Kind of Love showing up now over the Phil Collins cover (and now we've finally got a 50s song I think I'll drop off for now)
March 22, 20232 yr Yeah a good Billy Joel song there. I like 'Groovy Kind of Love' in both forms but that one is better indeed.
March 22, 20232 yr Santa Claus and the Christmas Trees feels like a good time to bow out for now
March 22, 20232 yr It's terrible and it's not showing a sign of stopping. Followed by Roy Wood :cheeseblock:
March 22, 20232 yr I’m quite surprised they’ve managed to get an official recording of every Top 40 hit - they must have needed to make some executive decisions there. Also wonder if Glitter etc will be included.
March 22, 20232 yr Oh yes the better version of 'Tragedy', not the one in a certain Survivor right now :kink:
